Yeah and I can see the same happening with Chelsea. Good players want to play not sit on the sidelines.

i take it free speach has not made it to where you live then
i know he turned us down but it makes it much better that the mancs didn't get him.

If he is that good, surely he'd be called up as France have an ageing defense and quite cumbersome, very much reliant on the covering work by Viera and Makalele. Probably Santini knows that Mexes is "full of potential", as what made him attractive to Houllier and decided not to call him up!
