Few Questions:

2) What exact dates are you over for ?
3) Are you the lad in the picture ?(ie will your mum or dad bring you?)

from gatwick the easiest and quickest way will be either a) get a shuttle flight up to manchester airport which is only about 35 miles from liverpool or b) get the train (gatwick express) up to london victoria, then the tube about 8 stops up to london euston where you can get direct trains to liverpool

the train will be the cheapest option, book early online and the tickets will be cheap  :)

You can get a flight from Gatwick to Manchester for 33 quid each way
see link Gatwick to Manchester flight just depends on exact dates.

Looking at the national rail enquiries website it looks like you can get direct trains from Manchester airport to Liverpool but don't know about the prices, they don't go that far in advance.  :no

There's also coaches (National Express) that run from Gatwick to Liverpool .

You can also travel by coach from Victoria (central london) to Liverpool ,journey takes 5-6 hours and can cost less than £10 depending when you book.

Not yet. having said that, it frequently turned into an 'entertaining' trip...on one occasion (yer ive done it 3 times!)  it was a late departure out of London..there was a couple on the back seat 3 rows behind me at it all the way from about Sandbach services, and i mean 'the full 3 courses'. By the time the coach arrived at Bromborough, the driver had turned blue in the face telling 'em to ..'behave' over the PA. He stopped the bus and frogmarched down the aisle, tearing the strategically placed blanket from off two blissfully unaware faces! they were a picture  :D . For the record, my second trip ended up stranded in Birmingham awaiting connection for almost 4 hours   ensuring a trip well over 10 hours in length! (not sure if you'd get quite as far as Delhi on that, but....close enough id imagine) and the last and final time ive ever set foot on that service i was wearing my white sergio tracky and some daft bint fell on top of me on the way to the khazi spilling half a tin of coke over it  :no  .... me and National express travel together im afraid, are anything but a divine comedy.....  its just a pity that BR (or whatever name they're trading under now, other than D.Turpin enterprises) have the audacity to rip the very eyes out of your head along with the shirt off your back in getting you anywhere beyond a ten mile radius without the need for a second mortgage!
