It's probably higher than what you expected.

Well you didn't say how many people you reckon do those drugs, so how can I tell you if it's higher or lower? I've just gone with the fact that most people's estimations are lower than what the region is.

I think it's narrow minded to dislike someone for taking and using 'illegal drugs'. You'll be surprised how many people do acid or weed in this country.

There was a tw@t on here that used to have a dope leaf on his sig....he was obviously very heavy user of the stuff.
In the end it was plain he was delluded.....Drugs are not for the weak minded.
Hope he's got himself some help! :D

I'm going by what I've read from several sources. My view on drugs is that every one of these "illegal" drugs should be legalised. I feel it's against civil rights to prevent people from doing what they want. If Pete Doherty wants to stick heroin needles into his veins then that's entirely up to him. He's not doing any harm to me, so why should I begrudge him his right to abuse his body, if that's how he gets his kicks then let him and others like him. Offer them rehab and if they decline or fail then leave them to their own devices. Alcohol is a drug; I don't see that being banned. You must know a few things about drugs Woof Woof what with you living in Brixton.

:eyebrow  Yet another display of stereotypical observation . Why would i know about drugs, because I live in Brixton ?

Brixton must be full of drugs, you only have to listen to someone from Brixton slurring their words as they attempt to speak to you. It's like you speak a completely different language.

Sorry, but Doherty is about as talented as a dog turd.

Drug-fuelled ramblings do not constitute talent, my friends.

Oh, and Charmless - I suppose he'd be doing no harm if, in one of his regular drug-induced states of tw*ttiness, he decided to go for a drive, and ran you or a family member over, killing them instantly, or leaving them to live their lives in a wheelchair?

You don't half talk some f*cking b*llocks sometimes.

Anyone who is behind the legalisation of drugs knows nothing about human nature.

Yes - it may stop some burglaries - but do you think that the "Mr Bigs" are just going to say "oh well - our multi-billion pound 'industry' has gone - let's go and work in Tesco's"?

It will lead to more kidnappings, murders, armed robberies and other organised crime. Many will turn to sex-trafficing, and basically the whole country would go to sh*t.

Imagine a f*cking copper being a heroin addict. Or a f*cking doctor.
"Sorry Mrs Johnson - I couldn't save your husband because I was too f*cking wasted to see straight, and ended up chopping off his head, instead of his foreskin."

Stop talking utter f*cking b*llocks, you short-sighted c*nt.  :no

The great thing about opinions, Lando is that they all differ. Whilst I don't believe Pete is a great musician he is a lot better than a lot of artists out today.

You raise a good point, if he was to kill me or my family members, friends, girlfriend then I would expect him to spend the rest of his life in prison. Let’s face it, mate, it's very easy to get illegal drugs. Getting drugs is easier than buying alcohol.

I didn't say anything about drugs in crime. I agree a dealer is going to start up his business again. That's where the laws should be tougher in this country. Dealers get a slap on the wrists and are released; it's the same with Doherty. I don't agree with drugs, but you either send addicts down and dealers for long sentences or you legalise drugs. A good decade in prison going cold turkey would be far better than spending four months in rehab.

The whole country has gone to :censored:, it's gone there since Labour came into power and introduced silly laws which protect the criminals and stick two fingers up at law obeying citizens.

There is no point making petty laws on drugs, it's a waste of time, being fined a few hundred pounds for taking cocaine and made to do a hundred hours community service.

It's also worth to mention that binge drinking and smoking are just as bad as drugs. Binge drinking is responsible for an awful lot of crime and smoking just kills you and others around you.

when was the last time you read about a smoker mugging some old lady for money for a fix? Or going out of his head cos he had smoked to much and starting a fight. Everybody tries to make out that smoking is as bad as the other drugs, but smoking doesnt make you lose control, doesnt make you violent and doesnt lend itself to binges like drugs and alchohol.

I would rather meet a smoker on my way home than someone who has drank too much or taken hard drugs.

If someone wants to kill themselves slowly through smoking whats the problem, people kill themselves through eating too much ,yet we dont ban fat people from eating in public or make them pay extortionate taxes on their cream cakes. Wheres the government warning on pasties and pies?

Secondary smoking is much less of a problem than car exaust fumes, so lets ban cars from public places, Towns and Cities and make car owners feel like lepers for a change.

Planes do a great deal more damage and risk more lives through their effect on climate than a smoker ever could, so lets have a Government warning on all planes that flying may damage your health or everyone on the planets!

Leave the 'kin smokers alone!

If that's your stand point on things, then what's wrong with someone taking crack cocaine or acid? They aren't harming anyone else just themselves, they are killing themselves quicker than smokers and binge drinkers, but they live in a democratic society, they have civil liberties so what's wrong with taking hard drugs? It's no worse than binge drinking. You see you cannot preach about living in a democratic society when you discriminate against drug addicts. I've met a few druggies in my time and I'll tell you what, they have well paid jobs and it's their wages that go on drugs, they don't go out robbing people. You are generalising far too much, at the end of the day if someone is going to rob someone they'll do it regardless of their state of mind.

It's laughable at this day and age that there are double standards, nicotine is a drug, alcohol is a drug and cocaine is a drug, the only difference is cocaine is stronger. I don't agree with drugs, but I don't agree with discriminating against someone who does drugs.
