How mature of you, is there any need for this type of post? Losing in Europe is bad; we have more than enough in our arsenal to beat Galatasaray. I hate losing in Europe, that's not going to change. I'm also not discrediting our triumph in Istanbul, we deserved that, but to be the best team in Europe IMO you must go the full length without losing.

The fact that today's game ment absolutely nothing should be taken into consideration. It was played like a friendly and friendlies are pointless as was this match.

So name me the player who should be the week in, week out LW??

When fit, Harry Kewell. Luis Garcia only performs at Anfield. He is hussled off the ball away from home consistantly every time he plays.

If he was good enough to play there he would.

as for Cisse, i wouldn't call rubbish. He manages to sccore goals wherever he is. Even getting Hat-tricks for France while playing alongside Henry! Thats not rubbish.

I don't care, he's not a fantastic player. A fantastic player doesn't have a first touch of a brick wall. A fantastic player knows how to run with the ball properly. A fantastic player has intelligence on and off the ball.

Cisse has nothing that would make him a fantastic player.

Thats the most sensible thing you've posted in a while......

and probably one of the most positive.

The fact that you think that Cisse is a fantastic player says all about the ''sensible'' posts you've made.

I'll dig out that famous Paisley quote with regards to that comment. How anyone who truly supports Liverpool can come out with this type of comment is above my head.

Yes, he does, Natural Pace.

How about digging your :censored: head into a pile of sh!te?

A loss is a loss, but 3-2 is better than losing 3-1. It's a matter of mathematics.

All that suggests is that he should be running track. He can't use his pace properly i.e. Henry. Henry is fast but he knows how to run with the ball where as Cisse has pass the ball 20 yards into space and run after it.

That's the sort of player he is.

well if we are getting "the quotation marks" out. Then yes i do think he is a fantastic player. Watching him play before he came to us was very promising, then he played for France excellently. Then he was slated by us even though he was the second highest goalscorer behind Gerrard? and dont forget he didnt play half the season........

It didn't have significant importance, you're correct, but it was still a match we should and could have won. I'm not a fan of deliberately playing an under par team in Europe's finest competition. It's deeply disrespectful IMO.  Anyhow I’m looking forward to continuing where we left off in the league.

Surely thats exactly what Bellamy is like too??

But then again i bet you have a few bad words about him too......

A loss is a loss, no matter what the score line is, to try and come out a counter argument like yours is pathetic, sorry, but it is. I'm a naturally competitive person, I want to see us win all our matches, that includes friendlies and "pointless CL matches".

We may have already qualified and won the group but most of the players didnt look into the game. Riise was poor today, Paletta was absoulute :censored:, Fowler scored twice but wasnt very impressive. Some posotives though peltier look good today called be a real gem in a couple of years. Pennant played excellent and Bellamy was awesome for me the man of the match for us.

my thoughts, fowler well done a bit of confidence and 90 minutes, good for the lungs,

palleta, good player a bit to stuck in when it come to tackles, needs to watch his legs,a bit like traore

not really much to comment on,bad atmosphere, and a boring night(you wouldnt think that wiht the scoreline)

It's never nice to lose any game, however there were a few plus points tonight.

Bellamy was again very lively and looks now to be settling into the side. Really impressed by his last 2 performances.

Fowler was also impressive, got in the right places and took his chances.

Pennant was much improved, not totally polished yet but a much better overall game from him, looked more confident and hopefully he will kick on from here.

Except Bellamy knows how to run with the ball, he knows how to run off the ball, he knows how to recieve the ball, his first touch isn't abysmal and his overall football ability is better than Cisse.

Hence why he is a better player than Cisse, but neither are them fantastic players.

Gerrard is a fantastic player. Alonso is a fantastic player. Kaka, Ronaldinho, are fantastic players. Not Djibril Cisse and no not Craig Bellamy [he's miles better than Cisse btw]
