There are people on these boards, proclaiming we will win the league for the next ten years, we will be unstoppable e.t.c. however these are the same people slagging Chelsea off for doing the same sort of thing..........once again just a thought

The project was conceived under the shackles of severe financial constraint, we may be able to do better without that burden, e.g. personally I think we could fill a 70K stadium every week and so long as we don't have to take on extra debt to achieve that then why not push for it?

It will be interesting to see how Rafa gets on in the transer market as we all know how shrewd he can be when it comes to clubs outpricing players as I dont think hes ever been at a club where this kind of cash has been made available.
One thing is for sure though and that is clubs will most certainly up the prices of players like they do with Chelsea knowig full well how rich Mr Shiekh is![]()
First signings though should be Aaron Lennon, Daniel Alves and David Villa. And maybe even Carlos Teves.

People who think its gonna be like Championship Manager at Anfield are wrong.
There will be no need to sell befroe we buy if the deals goes through, and the future will be debt free, but anyone who expects to see £30m signings every other week i nthe transfer windows are very much mistaken.
