very happy, very good game, defence was a bit wobbly but remember that Wigan are a good team especially at home.

Thats more like it!Each and every player worked their balls off for those 3 points!

Great to see. This win will surely rid the squad of any lack of confidence.Chins will be up and the belief will be back and we will be playing like LFC again home and away from now

I can smell an unbeaten run on the horizon

Excellent performance, Wigan had a few chances to score but overall it was really good. Finally we win away in the League.

Hopefully we'll keep this going now, had a bit of luck today but it's about time we got the rub of the green this season, coz it's not been happening so far.

Bellamy, Kuyt, Gerrard all great games, would love to see performances like that every week.

What stream are you watching?

Sorry for the late reply....i'm watching star sports...

God, i would like to hump charlie webster..... :D

- Anyway...good 1st half....but average 2nd half.

-The team still don't look cohesion enuff.

-What can i say about pennant ? We are 4-0 up...rafa brings him on to create more havoc (thus raising his confidence level)....and what does he do...? He does not take players on....He releases the ball too fast (it as if he is scared to hold on to the ball for even 5 seconds).... If pennant can't perform when we are 4 goals up....i don't see what type of a future he has here (and this is coming from someone who wanted pennant here in the 1st place). Hopefully we can get alves in january.

-Bellamy looks good.

- Agger has to be 1st choice CB at the moment (although he was playing LB & CB at various times during the match)...he even looks better than carra and hyppia

-Reina looks to be back to his best. It looks like the good old days....(ie..if we score a goal, then its game, set & match)

- I like to hump charlie webster..... (is that her name ?)  :p

While I don't disagree with your assessment of Pennant this hardly seems the match to be dwelling on the negatives.  Four goals, an away win--huge monkey off the back there--and another clean sheet...what more can we ask for?  Let's hope this tees us up for a festive season of unbridled success!     :buttrock

Well well well.

Amazing what we can do when our players are allowed to focus, rather than forced to p*ss about with court cases due to whores in Welsh nightclubs.

Congratulations Craig - you deserved your goals, and long may it continue.

I haven't seen the match, but having read thi thread, it is clear it was an open and entertaining game.

The Monkey is off our backs now - lets go to town.

Dubai Holdings agree Reds deal    Sat, Dec 02 2006 11:52
Dubai Holdings has secured a deal in principle to invest in the Reds with Rafa Benitez set to receive significant transfer funds.
It is understood a deal was agreed late on Friday evening for the Middle Eastern investors to buy into the club although it is not yet clear if they have secured a controlling interest.
Reds' chief executive Rick Parry has been in negotiation with Dubai Holdings for two years and it is understood that the deal will release considerable funds for team strengthening and for the new stadium project.

Dubai Holdings, the Middle Eastern state's investment arm, looks to big global projects having recently secured an £800m purchase of Madame Tussaud's and the £675m buyout of Travelodge hotels.

They recognise Liverpool's incredible world-wide appeal and are said to be keen to put the club on a level financial footing with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Yer, mate...wide open, especially the first half.  In fact, all credit to Wigan for their swashbuckling approach.  Besides giving our Craig the space to run into at the back, it made for an entertaining game.  As made up for the lads as I am, we certainly were fortunate to get out of there with a cleansheet today.  Funny, how different a game feels when all the luck flows your way for a change!

Well that's it.

Wait for the "We were lucky" brigade.

Some people seem to think all our victories are down to luck, yet when we lose we NEVER have BAD luck.

Funny, that. :D
