Dream but realistic signings in transfer window?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Was wathcing SSN this evening and saw Chris Coleman saying that Boa Morte could be on his way in January. He's been a bit of a sick-note this season but i've been impressed with his performances (particularly since he was made captain) for Fulham over the last couple of year. He could be a good shout if the price was right. He's got pace, is skillful, works hard for the team and can play right/left or through the middle. I know we need cover in the middle of the park and at full-back but i've been dissapointed with the play of our wide-men and feel it needs adressing if the right player becomes available at the right price.

I do like Boa-Morte but i do think he is the type of player that excells more at a club like Fulham where there is more responsibility on his shoulders to perform.  Think his better days may be beyond him to be honest.

Heck I even think I heard Rio Ferdinand say he used to be a Liverpool fan when he was a kid.

With these sort of player you need a combination of money or being in the right place at the right time. Spurs to theri credit have managed to get alot of decent young English players in recent times. Shame about Andy Ried though, i thought he looked pretty good. (He did on good on Football manager for me anyway :D )

Rio went my school and I yes he was a liverpool fan.  He once told me Les was off to Liverpool. lol.
