Gary mac' - Top pundit....!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby CardinalRed » Fri Nov 24, 2006 5:12 pm

I know I'm biased but who agree's with me that Gary Mac gave a good account of himself on the box the other night? It's so obvious that he was an intelligent player and that carries over into the assessments that he makes when he's commentating, Sky should promote him and get rid of Andy "take a boo son" Gray, the country'd soon forget about him if Gary was on the box more.....?

ive the utmost respect for him as both a player (not just for LFC either)  and also as a man. If he ever does decide to take Rafa up on his invitation, he'd be a most welcome addition to the set-up for me.

Id rather have my eyes stabbed out with a blunt rusty spoon than have andy grey. As for gary mac, the guy was a legend as a player and was also a complete gent.

He is an amabassador for the sport and is just a great person as well. Could never have a bad word to say about the guy.

Fave memory of him will always be the cheeky free kick against neverton. Gary Mac, we all salute you

Speaking of Andy Gray, in his column on Football365 today he argues that Man U's squad is every bit as deep as Chelsea's.  Objectivity when it comes to either of these sides escapes me but I can say, without a moment's hesitation, that Chelsea have a MUCH deeper squad than Man U.

Imagine a 50/50 ball in midfield on Sunday and the resulting collision leads to match-ending injuries for Carrick and Fat Frank (erm, I did say 50/50 ball didn't I?  Alright, Ballack! :))  Whatcha reckon Andy?  O'Shea and Essien about the same calibre of substitute?  What a joke he is. :no

You can't spell "GRAY" without "G-A-R-Y"

Get the annoying bald Scot off Sky.

Put the non-annoying bald Scot on Sky.

Just certain things he said to Gerrard. You can see how it affected gerrard in his book.

A example is gerrard done boateng in a fecking awful challenge and got sent off and Gary Mac came up to him in the dressing room and had a real go at him because it was such a dangerous tackle
