With Oasis out of the picture round here, no one's come on and extolled the virtues of Salcido last night! :D

Shhhhhh! Dont push your luck or he might come back  :D

Oasis is probably sitting in his bedroom now..w@nking over Alex's performance and ripping his Lucas Neill poster off the wall! :D

Went last night and was disapointed in a lot of things if I am being honest.

1) The Fans  -  With it being a European night and a flag night I was expecting so much more from the fans in the KOP and the ground as a whole. I was left bitterly disapointed in the fans as a whole, we did not really get going at all and the PSV fans were much better value than us. R.T.K ?

2) Pennant  -  Whatever you say about this lad and not judging him, he is not up to scratch, he was dismal again last night. His passing is awful and he looks scared out on the pitch.

3) Injuries  - Xabi and Momo now out is a bad sign but it could make our season with Gerrard back in the middle.

4) Missing Momo  -  It was evident to see how much we missed Momo last night. It took us ages to win the ball off them and it wound the crowd up.

However were top of the group now and I just hope some fans start supporting the club instead of sitting in silence.

Rob your right are fans were shit last night , mate. I hope we get a big team in the 2nd round as it is the only time we make any noise at home. There was a better atmosphere at Birmingham away in the Carling Cup than there was an Anfield last night.

WE WERE SHIT.

PSV fans done well and they should be proud of themselves.

As a PSV-fan it was still nice to view the match, Liverpool is a big team and is always playing for the EPL championship and for other prizes. Unfortunatly the company that showed the matches was quite late and didnt show the two teams going to the pitch.. that was quite a shame for us tv-fans :)

Too bad we missed Cocu cause otherwise we could have maybe surprised a little bit but overall your team has better players and more experienced people so we could only dream of a victory.

Good luck in the EPL and I really hope Kuyt will do well, he used to play for one of our rivals (Feyenoord, but biggest rival is Ajax cause of their stupid fans/squad) but he convinced me that he is worthy to play in the EPL and for Liverpool.

Oh eh btw, can we hire Gerrard for a season?
:D :p

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Well, Frank Lampard would be nice as well since Cocu will retire after this season, I just hope our team doesnt get sold entirely cause thats where most of the dutch clubs end up.. getting talented players (aged or not) and see them leave for better leagues .. its :censored: :(

Nope mate, although I fully support it and its ideas. The problem was still there last night. I feel in order to move forward, a re-seating policy in the Kop is essential. The amount of non-scousers and scousers around me not singing was disheartening.

I am not starting this whole OOT debate, as I am fully aware people on here like Lando, Bigmick, Smeg, and many others would sing the songs and are passionate about the club. According to Leon and many other Kopites - I am a OOTer or a wool!

I am talking about the type of fan who go the game because its "cool" or the "inthing" - I was watching them yesterday with utter hatred. The Kop should be all pride and passion in that famous red shirt. Were famous but were dying a slow painful death.

Well there was only you, me and Raymond in the room, and since Raymonds a goat and you were busy gobbling him I was the only one able to sing.

The kop has pretty much seen its day and with the new stadium on the horizon the R.T.K campaign should focus on making sure something is put in place so we dont end up with what we have now.

maybe make it season ticket only., keep daytrippers out

its a sad state of affairs that something like this has to be done but maybe the R.T.K could put an ad in the match programme reminding people of who they are supporting and whats expected of a kopite.

any news on how its going.
