I am a believer in Craig. He is doing well, but not well enough.

similar players, different attitudes. Time will tell if losing Cisse was a bad idea, the lad has potential but i think he's better suited for the foreign leagues.

Have faith in Craig, he scores goals whoever he plays for.

But the question is how long do you wait?  I am always surprised at everyones patience when it comes to new signings. Why the F--- does it have to take twenty five games for a player to settle in .Yeah I know the players have to gel , work out combinations etc But there lies one of the problems because if you have constant rotation of players ( which I am not arguing about) then it just takes that much longer . Then again aren't these guys professional footballers? And if that is true then we will have the same f__king problem every year. I suppose one example to this is Crouch , so who knows how Bellamy will turn out. He will need to score15 goals by the end of the season to prove me wrong . Oh Cisse wasn't that bad, Wasteful and annoying sometimes but also did his job and that was to score goals

Bellamy is everything that Cisse wasn't - he has awareness, he can pass a ball, he can control a ball, he wants to win, he plays for the team, he works hard.  Cisse was a lazy fu.cker who would have been sold a season sooner had he not broken his leg the first time.

Personally I'm sick of people coming on here and slating some of the new boys like Bellamy, Pennant and Gonzalez.  For fu.ck sake cut them some slack, they're not playing well but don't forget they're new signings who will take time to settle.  The whole team is playing shi.te - Gerrard and Carra, the local boys who can do no wrong, have been 2 of the worst offenders imo.  Carra has made more individual errors than any of our other defenders this season, while Gerrard has been awful by his standards, and don't give me any of that 'it's because he's played out of position' sh.ite, he won player of the year and scored 23 goals playing on the right last year so that's not the reason.

The whole side is lacking confidence and playing badly, which has made it 10 times harder for the new signings to settle, but people still single them out for abuse, it's pathetic.

You need to start posting more  :D

Yeah fair enough.I agree everyone is palying sh-t But when are they going to settle? At least you know the ones that have done the job in the past are good enough. I also do agree if everone had Bellamy's desire/attiatude to win it would make a diff.

bellamy and kuyt would be the best partnership - both give 110% every game - only a matter of time before the goals start flowing

as for cisse - move on - NOT liverpool quality - too lazy and poor touch

he was playing well last season for blackburn. our midfield are letting our strikers down at the moment - no width and nobody playing well enough to supply them

Bellamy is perfect in a mid table side where he is the star.  i.e. Blackburn.  I have no problems with Kuyt but to me Bellamy isnt good enough for Liverpool.

best option we have though - crouch would be o.k at anfield, but you need pace away from home for the counter attack

My only complaint about Bellamy is he is always complaining to the ref (whether he is wrong or right). This then alienates the referee who then in turn calls against him which hurts the team.

I wish he would just get on with it but he has been the same at all teams he played for so he will not change now.

Bellamy tries hard but for f'ucks sake will someone please explain the off side rule to him ! The fella (apparently) doesn't have a clue .

Two out of three promising balls to Bellamy find him running offside , the third one ? he scuffs it .

Definitely agree that he's good value for 3-4 flags a game.  But, so are many pacy strikers, who are always prepared to keep gambling in hopes that the flag will stay down that one time.

The trouble with our play at the moment is that the midfielders might only attempt to play him in with 3-4 through balls per game, unlike Henry who might get 8-10 chances to time his run correctly.  So, just as Bellamy's sussing out the defensive line and getting his timing down, the service dries up.

I am doubtful if Bellamy will ever be a success here--good luck to him anyway.

If a ball was played to Cisse when he was in an offside position:

1) He wouldn't chase it. He'd simply think 'Zut alors, f.uck zat' and watch it trundle over the touchline.
2) The player who slipped him the through-ball would receive one (1) dirty look of indeterminable length.
3) He would then stroll around the pitch for half and hour, looking at his feet with his lower lip pooched out like a toddler who'd been grounded.
4) Upon his substitution for being a lazy git, he would proceed to rant at the manager in some heathen language, possibly even french, before stomping off in disgust.

When a ball is played to Bellamy when he is in an offside position:

1) He chases it anyway and whacks it past a complaining keeper into the back of the net.
2) He puts his hands on his head in a show of disbelief when he finally looks up and sees the flag.
3) He mouths words which bring great joy to lip-readers watching Match Of The Day. Although it may look like he's telling the linesman to fork off, it is probably some incredibly polite Welsh phrase meaning "Oh, I am a silly chap. I seem to have strayed past that last defender in my eagerness!"
4) He raises a hand to acknowledge the pass.
5) He trots back to his position, pausing only to swear profusely behind the referee and question the parentage of several of the opposition defenders.

I reckon Cisse should be at least a bench player for us at the moment, for a number of reasons:
1) KUYT: Missing more chances per game than ANY player in World Football.
2) CROUCH: Turning into the new Michael Owen; scores 9 goals in 9 games and the 6 without a goal.
3) BELLAMY: Missing his first opening in each game he plays and his confidence is being shot to pieces for the remainder of the match.
4) FOWLER: Must have vanished in to the Bermuda Triangle as he doesn't even get on the bench.
5) GARCIA: Out of favour an injured a lot this year; he has been vital since he came.
6) GERRARD: One goal all season from our BEST Player ridiculous and on a side note we need MOMO back ASAP as gerrard was ineffective in his FAVOURED position.
