Lyon are looking a force to be reckoned with in Europe.

Its actually quite hard to believe that super cautious Houllier could produce a team that attack so well and play with a fearless attitude that imposes its own way so well on other teams!
Lyon are a classic example of a team with belief in themselves..they have more belief than ability and in my eyes are an asset to European football!

Great to see that if players are comfortable with their peers and manager they can overide and pass the expectations of the media and public....I really fancy Lyon cause they have what we had in 2005..something unique and really hard to describe or disect!
Its hard to beat a team when you know what they are doing so well..its harder to beat a team that are doing something so well but dont truely know how they are doing it!

Of course i think we have a chance! How cool would an LFC vs Lyon final be?

Us winning on penalties...Raffa shaking Houlliers shaking hand after its over! :D

Can I be controversial?

Really, really hope I'm wrong, but Chelsea. :(

For all the shit he gets, Drogba is a class striker and in great form this season.  I even said that when he bullied Hyypia all over the place when playing for Marseille about three years back.

Essien, in my opinion up there with our own Stevie Gerrard is a fantastic box to box midfielder with a bundle of energy.  They've got players who ar top class all over the park in every position.

They'll go close again if not win the competition this year.  By the way Barry, Lyon are a good shout there.  Good side them.
