I'm not sure who the commentator was but he made a good point about playing a winger in the centre and and centre midfielder on the wing. I like Zenden, but I feel he should have either been given the nod over Gonzales or on the bench and come on to replace him.

A lot of people thought that gerrard and Alonso would get swamped in the middle. in allf airness gerard did play in the middle more at times in the game and we were swamped. We need cover for momo, and zenden isnt the answer.
Bellamy will one day get a goal given when he is onside and crouch needs to learn ball control.

and if i hear rafa say hes just thinking about the next game i'll go mad. he needs to get in that dressing room and literally smack the sh!te out of some of players. We all knows he loves the club, now he needs to show it and give the players a bollocking every now and then.

Rafa's version :-

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez swept aside renewed questions about Steven Gerrard's role after the crushing defeat at Arsenal.
Bolo Zenden was preferred to Gerrard in central midfield, despite the absence of the injured Momo Sissoko.

But Benitez said after the 3-0 loss: "Steven was playing in the middle for part of the second half and we didn't create many chances.

"We need to improve as a team and not think about one or two players."

By all accounts the boys had already given up in the second half, and I can assure you that had he started from the begining in the middle he would of created more chances than what Zenden creates. I think thats a an excuse on Rafa's part and deep down he knows it I reckon.

And to help improve AS A TEAM you need to play your best players in their best positions. Why are we all moaning that Gerrard is being played out of position........... answer : Because he is the ONLY player being played out of position, and that alone can effect a TEAM.

Yeah I agree with that also especially when Sissoko was playing I could understand the fact Gerrards being used out wide. But now that Momo's injured and in a tough fixture like Arsenal why opt to put Zenden in the center and Gerrard out wide, its a weird decision in my mind.

Your not, I am.

And like I said before the result would of been easier to swallow if we had our stongest or best players in their best positions.

He's playing cr@p probably because he's having a sulk dare I say it, at being moved aside for the one Bolo Zenden. I think I'd be peeved if I was Gerrard, a world class player who cant even get back to his proper position because of Zenden. This is what I'm saying, Rafa knows its pi$$ing Stevie off I reckon, but the mans so stubborn he wont back down.

i dont care what anyone says, rafa is making mistake after mistake in his squad selection when it comes to the league. maybe we need a seperate manager for the league and keep rafa for cup games
