Hey moderators can you not take a bit of sh*te.You must be able to cos you support Sh*te

14 years since u won the league and u defo will not win it again for a long time.

Shanks would be turning in his grave if he thought the once mighty and proud Liverpool would settle for 4th place and a champions league spot.

I remember when Liverpool were the kings of Europe but now they are just an also ran.

How sad.I dare you moderators to keep this thread open and lets have a serious debate about the demise of your once great club.

So u disagree with me then ?

Convince me of Liverpools current greatness and I will take my hat off 2 u.BTW I am an Evertonian and i think its rather sad that u have loads of threads relating to how ****** we are.

I know we are ****** but we have not thrown £130 mill at our squad like you have.

Please explain Biscan , Traore , Diao , Diouf , Cheyrou. there is £20+ million of players there and they are ****** u have 2 admit.

Our first 11 didnt cost £20 mill so while u may have a go at how sh*te Everton are just remember the fact that our team is not an expensively assembled sh*te team.Plus ur only 2 decent players SG & MO are both home grown so how much would they cost in todays market ?

Do I detect a semblance of a decent point made in there amongst all that trollop. I f you have been around these boards at anytime in the last, two years you might have seen people saying that a lot of money was spent on footballers not up to the job, having said that, anyone of our so called sh*t players would walk straigt into your first team so remember... people in glass housees eh... now f*ck of back under your stone if you are not prepared to make some kind of effort to contribute constructively to this forum

Dear Peasant,

Firstly i will agree with you on one thing, yes you are sh*te ok.
Also i would like to state that you dont need to convince us the GH made some dad mistakes in the market a wasted a lot of money, but he has gone now and as soon as the new manager is in place then im sure that several if not all of the players you mentioned will be moving on aswell. There is as everyone knows i sizeable gap between the top 3 and the rest of the Prem (in which Liverpool are). However, there should be good times ahead on the building of new look Liverpool football Club, gone are the days of signing unknown french duds and i as one look forward to the new manager making Liverpool Football club great again.
The renaming of the Football leagues will help Everton supporters world wide relive their dreams. And maybe winning the Championship (Division 1) again!!

Regards

Well Lurd

At least you are honest enough to acknowledge that u need a manager to make you great again. As regards Everton winning trophies again well all I can say is that while I acknowledge that you trophy cabinet is indeed impressive that our record is only bettered by Arsenal , Liverpool and Manu(re) so not too bad for a 2nd rate club.

I know you lot think that we are Div 1 bound ( or whatever its called ) but thankfully for us the teams that came up this season will defo struggle and maybe we could scrape our usually high finish of 4th from bottom.

Still LFC wont be winning the title for a while so all is not too bad

Yes, i agree we are some way of from having a team which will bring the title home, however attracting a top manager of the calibre of Raphael Benitez then im sure attracting top players will not be an issue. Liverpool are finally heading in the right direction, which is a good start and will do me.

I was about to respond your post, but i was confused since i've seen no point to take or any question in there.

So what's your point, kid? is it why we are now finished four? why we spent too lots money? why shankly hasn't turned in his grave? or why the moderator deleted your previous account?

or if you want to debate about the demise of our once great club, except the euro topic and entertainment forum, perhaps more than half of the incoming threads were going on that topics. Just go down there and be a constructive poster.

I wouldn't think the moderator doesn't dare to keep your thread opened. I believe he's just worried many other posters here would be bothered repelling you with your muddy shoes coming in to our cozy house.

Cozy House huh ?

Do you still believe that Liverpool are great.I have stated in other posts in this thread that Liverpool were once great in fact I will go so far as to say that LFC in a historical sense are the greatest team in Britain.

But u have fallen from those heady heights of the 70's & 80's and they dont look like returning to imminently.

When GH was installed as LFC manger there was great optimism around LFC and that was to be admired but once again your hopes of returning to former glories have been dashed.

Once again LFC stands at the possible return of greatness with a new manager and all the optimism that that brings.

As for Mr Shankly and his turning in the grave , I do think that he would be extremely unhappy with 4th place even tho it comes with the pot of gold that is CL qualification.

I am trying to be sincere here cos at the end of the day my greatest footballing memories where of the mid 80's when Merseyside Football teams dominated Europe and the 1st division.
