ARSENAL VS LIVERPOOL

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Can someone explain to me why van persie was not sent off for the handball?

If reina does it to stop van persie getting to it then he gets sent off. Van Persie tried to cheat everyone, it's not acceptable.

Although this is no excuse. As for the performance:

SHAMBLES

I will post my views tomorrow after I have cooled down.

but it didnt sail in, and they were offside so its a strange comment to make.

we dont win from missed chances, we cant say 'if' mate, thats not what the game is about. when the chances go astray we need to create more and not have the 'oh well we have an excuse' mentality.

one goal away from home all season, i cant put my finger on it, i know i said we should play 442 away from home, we did that today and it got us nowhere.

i think its time to give fowler an extended run in the team, at least he knows where the goal is

I agree entirely with you on that mate, however I found it strange that puroresu said 'we didn't create clear cut chances' because we did, but I agree we needed to create more today and we didn't, IMO our midfield isn't strong enough, we do not know how to use the wings properly, if we did I'm sure we could of done a lot of damage to Arsenal as they are quite narrow.

It doesnt matter who starts up front I just think Rafa fails to get the team playing in a way which creates chances for strikers.  We cant look at the crouch and bellamy disallowed goals and somehow think we were unlucky today.  We were not good enough and in terms of quality Arsenal looked a class above us.  sharp accurate Passing, technique, movement came from one side today and it wasnt us.

Fk off puroresu. Its not that I think your wrong because I dont, I know your right. Its just hearing the truth hurts at the moment mate.

last goal scored away from home in the prem was a pen scored by Fowler.
I am just hoping for finishing 4th if we can it will be a miracle.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Its time for hard reality and accept we dont have enough genuine quality players to win a championship.  I look back to 1st game of the season and that awful draw and many thought it was just a blip and nothing to worry about.  That result was just a sign of more to come away from home.

Both people so far on talk sport have questioned whether Benitez is the man as well as slating crouch and Alonso.

One of them brought up a good point of going back to a 4-5-1. It may have been boring but at leastwe got results with it. We are too vunerable at the back and this is going to cost us.

Id hate to think what would happen to our funding if we didnt qualify for next years CL.

Well said Ciggy, everyone was a disgrace! we played awful and our defence was awful

Thank god Reina saved adebayor's shot, it would have been an embarrasment if it did go in.

There was a huge confusion when Gallas scored, who do you think is the fault of the goal? gerrard or riise? they had a huge arguement on the pitch about it.
