Pennant has done nothing so far this season to deserve a starting place in this tough fixture, he leaves Finan exposed and today we cannot afford to carry any passengers.

Zenden is a decent player, he isnt really a CM but he can do a job there. His quality is breaking into the box, but he will have to play a bit differently today.

I expect Gerrard to play on Fabregas when they have the ball, and in a free role when we have it. I think Bellamy will come on second half if we need more options. I'm surprised Garcia is not in the squad , he scored against them last season.

I just hope Zenden stops pulling out of tackles and gets into them. We can win this one!

With or without zenden, this is a "very loseable" game. If Arsenal play to their potential, they can rip any team apart (yes, even us).....

So like lynds mentioned, lets get behind the team.

As for gerrard in CM.....i am beginning to see rafa's rational in playing him on the wings...Gerrard has lost the discipline needed to play as a CM. He will leave lots of gaps if he goes forward everytime. Alonso isn't a player who will tidy up for gerrard. And with hyppia who hates players running at him.... this will only spell danger for us.

So as long as we don't get a claude makelele type of player, we can forget about gerrard playing in the centre (in a 4-4-2 formation)...

On a separate note, if we lose this match....i won't criticise the team and rafa as much as i did against MU..... i promise
