Talented but simply doesn't produce often enough.

Sell him now and try and get some money for him, he'll be off on a free at the end of next season anyway.

So now it's the fans fault that he's inconsistent or consistently poor in most peoples view. I dont rate him and if there is going to be change at Anfield surely he will be one of the first to go. He reminds me of Houllier plenty of heart and determination but just doesnt produce the goods.

Smicer will be a useful squad player. He should take a role in the cup runs.
The best will be kept for the league and CL.
Smicer's future can be decided during the 2nd transfer window.

If Smicer had come to LFC and played like John Barnes used to, before he got fat, does anybody think the crowd would give him stick.

If Gerrard plays rubbish for the next 3 years he'll get stick in the same way Giggs did when he had a couple of poor seasons. you are judged on performances, hence why Heskey was jeered.

Smicer has become the new "Heskey" I see, the player all fans with no understanding of the big picture and often those that don't attend, love to hate and berate

I will always have a high regard for Vladi as I for one remember the game against Basle when we looked toothless on the pitch and totally devoid of ideas before Smicer showed the heart and invention to stage something resembling a fight back, so I guess i am slightly biased in my opinion, the man as a player is highly talented but he has failed to produce it week in week out a crime not uncommon with the majority of the present squad

I agree fully with your sentiment Red Beer goggles but doesn't it cheese you off having to listen to knee jerk reaction comments on here sometimes ?

On FORM alone there are more players at LFC who aren;'t performing to teh standard this last season but never seem to get as much stick. in the end i supose certain players become fashionable to have a go at. Athough i don't advocate blind allegiance to all things LFC , sometimes ceetain players have an immunity against criticism whilst others get way too much. Smicer was playing realy well for liverpool early season , picked up an injury and disappeared . Now the talk is of him stayinga nd the knives are already out .....

The same people would comment ( he looks so much smaller on the telly ) ,I totally agree with you Dalglish people on this forum would do well to consider the content of their threads before ostracising certain individuals ,I work nights 4 on 4 off and when I return to this forum Its sad to see the constant abuse of certain players rears its ugly head time and time again ,it’s Hopefully a new beginning for our club a new Renaissance cant we just show a little bit of that in our posts
