He is playing well, but still a little bit too inconsistent. I still say Bellamy and Kuyt are better options.

inconsistant?

he's been our most consistant goalscorer this season. Has more goals than bellamy and kuyt put together and has started less less than either of them.... i dont call that inconsistant

i thought the crouch-kuyt partnership was excellent against villa, not only is crouchy scoring but his unselfishness & awarness to set up garcia for his goal was a credit to him! as he is on good goal scoring form most strikers would of had a shot themselves i think his alround game has improved imensly yes he is playing with a higher caliber of players but i think crouch deserves his place, credit to raffa aswell for bringing him on as good as he has!

Crouch inconsistent, what matches have you been watching? It's certainly isn't Liverpool matches, because Crouch has been one of our few consistent performers this season. He has scored something in the region of 8-9 goals so far this season more than both Kuyt and Bellamy.

he has good feet for a tall man and u just have to look at his goal scoring record for england, its brilliant, yesterday him and kuyt made a good partnership and i think that it will be very hard for bellamy to get into the team after his injury if liverpool keep playint the same way

I think the biggest mistake Rafa has made this season has made this season is not playing Crouch regularly. I was one of those saying that he was 5 Mil player good enough for the bench, but we look a much better side when he plays.

He should have been our number 1 striker from the start with the rest competing for a spot next to him.

Firstly sort out your grammar.

Secondly how can you claim Peter Crouch is one of the best players to hold up the ball and then say strength is his weakness??!!

Hello? ???

He also isnt the best finisher around and isnt really any good with his head. But I still think he's a good player but not the best striker no way. He's a good player in a very good team, this helps his game by being surrounded by quality players.

Rafa: 'When you buy a leg for your table you don't buy the best leg, you buy the leg you need'

I think this sums up Crouch perfectly, and why Rafa's such a great manager.

Crouch isn't the best player in the world, far from it, but he fits well in the team. I don't know the figures, but I bet if you look for the most assists last season Crouch will be somewhere near the top. Bamaga man said he's not very good with his head, I'd agree that he's not very good at SCORING with his head, but IMO he's the best in the EPL at flicking the ball on to a second man.

To answer the original question, undroppable? No, no-one's undroppable. A vital member of our squad? Yes.
