Oh no  :sniffle

Karen that's awful :(

I honestly thought he was on the mend. I can't believe it :(
But just as well he died pain free and happy because he had you and the kids and of course all the support here. I'm struggling to find words here so I'll just say

R.I.P. Phil

My thoughts and prayers to you, the family and Phil's many friends both near and far Karen.

It's always difficult to know what to say at a time like this but be assured of our support at this time. You have my number Karen, please call if you need anything.

There's an old saying "Its better to light a candle than to complain about the dark" and Phil epitomoised this in his approach and outlook on life and his illness. He brought a sense of perspective to this forum and touched many of us on here with his courage, bravery and incredible sense of humour.

When we say "You'll Never Walk Alone" , we mean it. Please don't hesitate to contact me.

They say that friends are strangers we have never met. Phil was someone I never met but counted as a friend......

Very sad to hear that Phil has passed away, I really did believe that he would make it. My thoughts and prayers are with you Karen and the rest of your family.

Can't say that I knew Phil as much as the others, but you could tell that he was a top bloke.

Credit to him for fighting as much as he did, he showed tremendous spirit, courage and determination to fight the way he did.
