I really don't think we can afford to carry him in the second half in the hope that he might produce something. It's time for Crouch up top and a straight 4-4-2 I think, (once again the 4-5-1 doesn't seem to be effective). The other change I would make is to withdraw Sissoko who has been booked and is liable to get himself sent off, move Gerrard into central-midfield and bring on Pennant down the right.

Given our league position and the sheer desperation of situation, I wouldn't be hanging around either. Like as of now would be a good move in my book.

i would definately agree. i'd say crouch on for garcia at half time. pennant on for alonso or momo after 60/65 mins.

the only other option would be to switch garcia and gerrard over, but i would prefer crouch on NOW, rather than see if the switch works. 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 is ok for controling a game, but not if you want to score.

long balls up to kuyt is the biggest waist of time as there's always 2 cetral defenders round him cause garcia is covered by carrick dropping back

Gerard IMO needs to be moved to the middle, this is where does his best work.

Sunday 22nd October @ 13:45pm -  Liverpools Title Challenge for season 2006/2007 is over.

Breaks my heart to say that as i was so confident about the season ahead.   I thought the squad put together gives us options and strength but after what has been a poorer start than anyone could have imagioned, whilst our tactics, squad rotation and love of 'thumping' the ball up field all the time, i now cant even see us even challenging next season (which ok is a long while off - but i aint going to kid myself, we are simply not showing any signs of ever being near to a title challenging side).

Can anyone give me some inspiration please, so i dont have to sound like an old moaning fart?!

Sissoko isn't looking too good in the second half so far.

Remember 1983,  a long time ago I know and different personnel, but if we did it once we can absolutely do it again.

dont understand why pennant has come on for gonzalez.... ???

he was one of our only threats in the first half.

He's playing on the left aswel... so neville knows he will always try and  pull it back onto his right to cross it.

where's crouch??
