Never mind the red cards I'm more worried about these kind of decisions
Dont bank on getting any 50/50s... or 60/40s, 70/30s... we might get a 90/10 if we're lucky

the more i think about it, the more i think gerrard might be deployed on the left again, mainly to keep ronaldo quiet.

Id put Risse out on the left, Aurelio behind. they can switch, risse can keep hold of ronaldo. Put bellamy on the right wing. Crouch or kuyt up front alone with stevie  just behind and in front of momo and alonso.

Well just  an idea, maybe a bad one but i just dont like seeing stevie on the left

ronaldo played left side the other day because giggs was injured. presuming giggs returns on sunday, ronaldo will be back on the right with scholes and carrick central.

i really feel we can dominate the midfield area. carrick and scholes are hardly imposing figures are they?

this is true...but id like scholes to be kept under lock and key moreso than carrick, he has a habit of getting into very good positions and scoring stunners..i think our midfield is more than capable of handling theirs, providing they turn up on the day!

I know i will be shouted down, and rafa would never do this but....

Could we man mark Rooney?

We could stick momo on him, just annoy the feck out of him, then play stevie and alonso in the middle. Risse on the left, bellamy on the right and crouch up front by himself. This way we have the pace on the wings, we take rooney out of the game and can always get stevie up fron if momo is wasted?

I just wish Gerrard would start tackling like he used to again instead of leaving it all to Momo. I want Gerrard and Momo winning every tackle and totally dominating the midfield.

i think the best way is to get momo to "deputise" that central area of the pitch just before our box...he can handle that for 90 minutes, and tell him not to pass more than 10 yards or pass the half way line. :;):

Yeah he's not the physically dominant centre midfield ball winner (like a Keane or Vieira) he looked like he would become when he dominated both of them in a fortnight at about 19 years old. His predominant contribution now is his attacking, though for an attacking midfielder he is a great tackler and great defender - but he is a different animal to the one he was touted as when a young man.

He is a very rare player, and I can't think of a player who was as good as him going forward but can still offer loads defensively.

i rcvd this e-mail today from a fellow pool fan, its very funny but has some bad language in it, so kids please get some permission from an adult before reading.....

Is this the way you all feel???

I :censored: hate this shower of :censored: and everything the :censored: stand for, right from their :censored: copied liverpool kit from when the :censored: used to look like :censored: up canaries, to their :censored: stadium in a wasteland, that ingracious, mumbling alcoholic :censored: putrid egotistical :censored: of a manager. I :censored: hate Gary busy :censored: Neville, the snivelling little :censored: kissing untalented :censored: and his :censored: 12 year olds moustache, little :censored: and his :censored: delsions of grandeur, thinking he's the :censored: shop steward of professional football. :censored: off you :censored:, and :censored: you mother, and your sister and your brother, all :censored: off and :censored: each other, you're all inbred.

:censored: megastores and merchandising and totally ripping the :censored: out of their moronic, gullible :censored: fans - the :censored: deserve each other.
I hate their :censored: "fans united" :censored:, stupid :censored: - we can see how much of a difference those :censored: really made now. Average attendance up 10,000 since them :censored: left. I :censored: hate the way people have started calling them "the reds" considering we were playing in red, and ALL red, when those :censored: were still called Hampstead Heath or some such :censored:, I hate the way the :censored: even removed the words "football club" from their own :censored: club crest, the money hungry :censored:.

I hate their :censored: uneducated fans, who know :censored: all of the history of football in general, never mind their own team. I despise the re-inventing of history they perpetuate, so they can tell us we've never won "the permiership", even though any :censored: with a brain (which obviously excludes Man U "customers") knows we've won the top division more than anyone. I can't stand their claims to be the most successful club, the most successful british club and all that :censored:, and their claims of ferguson being the greatest manager ever, despite being in charge of what was the worlds richest club for 20 years and only managing to win ONE solitary European Cup, and even getting lucky at that, despite Bob's 3 in nine years in charge, and despite only winning one more league title than Bob, even though he's had more than twice as long, and an almost unlimited budget to do it.

I hate their :censored: favouroutism from refs and the media (50 greatest Man U goals on TV over christmas - :censored: WHAT??) and every :censored: "legend" who ever played for them. Bryan Robson - :censored:, Mark Hughes - :censored: - Steve Bruce - Fat Headed :censored:. I :censored: hope those three :censored: get relegated this season so I don't have to look at the :censored: any more. Eric :censored: Cantona and his :censored: chest out and collar up. What a :censored: :censored:. :censored: fat :censored: at that.
Philosopher my :censored:.

The current bunch of :censored:wits aren't much better either. Rio :censored: duck face Ferdinand, the junkie :censored:, who's got the positional sense of a :censored: broken compass. Michael Carrick. 18 million. That one doesn't even need a punchline. The granny :censored:, now two years and counting since he scored a competitive international or champions league goal. Wes Brown. A :censored: black guy with ginger hair? Plastic Ronaldo. If ever there was a dancing, diving, my little pony, sowboating, earring wearing little :censored: I'd liove to chin, it's that :censored:.

I hope we royally :censored: them :censored: over on Sunday, and that it becomes seen as the day that cemented their already started downfall, into relegation, bankruptcy and oblivion. We're back on our :censored: perch you :censored:, and you'll have to sit below us, getting :censored: on, for another 25 years.
