Why can't we have an easy match to build some confidence with?
Anyhoo....
I'd go with the following team, assuming Agger and Momo are not going to be risked:
Reina
Finnan JC Sami Riise
Gerrard Alonso Aurelio
Garcia
Kuyt Crouch.
In the absence of Momo, I'd sooner see GErrard, Xabi and Aurelio playing narrow, with the option of Gerrard and Aurelio nipping out to slip some crosses in, but giving more license to Riise and Finnan to come up and ping the balls in.
Bit of a different team, but one with at least 6 regular-ish goalscorers in it.
Garcia's invention is desperately needed.
I agree Lando . Garcia is a must . I am a big fan of his. I know sometimes he gets slated for wasting chances but things seem to happen when he is on the park. He and Alonso seem to play well together and Kuyt and Crouch give different options.
The team you have chosen is possibly our strongest in my opinion anyway.
I think if the team can smack a well known club by a few goals then the confidence will rub off on the rest of the squad.
I reckon there is that much pressure on them at the moment that it is affecting there performance and I think it all comes down to scoring.
I think that the team needs to play a little more risky football if that's possible and makes sense and the team you have chosen can do that. Although I doubt rafa will take too may risky options this game.
