BORDEAUX VS LIVERPOOL - build up. gerrard ruled out

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Yannou2pau » Mon Oct 16, 2006 8:45 am

Hi! My name's Yann and I'm a Bordeaux fan. I've seen Liverpool's draw against Blackburn on TV and I think your team is not in the best mood ever...that's a shame because I like your team very much but what I'm sure of is that Wednesday match will be a fantastic one. Liverpool needs to win because a great football club as yours musn't make successive bad games, and Bordeaux, after its victory against Monaco (1-0) played its best game of its season. After a poor beginning, we have assisted to a fantastic game by Bordeaux, playing so well, with a Johan Micoud who was terrific...
See you on Wednesday, I'll be in the stadium...May the best win!

I am looking forward to this one.  Its not played live in Australia but the Chelsea/Barca game shouldnt be too bad to watch :D

I like the look of the_rock's 4-5-1, I have been waiting to see Rafa put Bellamy in a wide striker role (similair to Cisse's) as I think that he will excel there.  Aurelio playing CM would be interesting, but this might be too much for the rotation bashers :p Personally I would like to see Zenden play, he apparently tore it up (and was MoM) in the reserve game last week.

Why can't we have an easy match to build some confidence with?

Anyhoo....

I'd go with the following team, assuming Agger and Momo are not going to be risked:

                                      Reina

              Finnan         JC              Sami             Riise

         Gerrard                  Alonso               Aurelio

                                    Garcia

                       Kuyt                      Crouch.

In the absence of Momo, I'd sooner see GErrard, Xabi and Aurelio playing narrow, with the option of Gerrard and Aurelio nipping out to slip some crosses in, but giving more license to Riise and Finnan to come up and ping the balls in.

Bit of a different team, but one with at least 6 regular-ish goalscorers in it.

Garcia's invention is desperately needed.

Thats possibly liverpool's strongest line up Lando

Unfortunately Vladi is not sure to play against Liv'pool on Wednesday...he has only played with our B Team, everything was all right but he's a little weak physically speaking for the moment...I'm sure he'll be ready in two weeks for Liverpool - Bordeaux! He's a player I really like...a great fellow and a very good player indeed!

Our team will probably be organised like that:

---------------------------Rame----------------------------
Jurietti-----------Jemmali---------Henrique-----------Wendel
--------------------------Mavuba--------------------------
Alonso-----------------------------------------------Dalmat
--------------------------Micoud---------------------------
-----------------Chamakh--------Darcheville----------------

We have done such a beautiful match against Monaco that we'll go on playing quite offensively in a 4-4-2 diamond with a lot of responsibilities for Johan Micoud!

Sky.

Unfortunately, I can watch it at all because I have to go to a prize giving thing at school. Big waste of time, sit in a hall for a few hours why some guy bangs on in his speech and the only time you get out of your seat is to go up and collect some poxy certificates.  :glare:
