Obviously because some people think that it would be for the benefit of the team. Cisse scored quite a few goals from this position (though on the right) but I felt that he was one footed therefore could only go around a player (and therefore away from goal) when he played on the right and could only beat people to the by-line and put in a cross as he always dribbling control was pretty poor.
Do you think that the my analysis in my first post is flawed?
No mate nothing to do with what you said, what I meant was we have been crying out for pacy wingers, we have them now but neither of them play at the same time.
Instead Rafa uses Gerrard and Bellamy in their positions its so annoying.

On both flanks this is very useful, especially if the full backs or wingers get up on the overlap.
I can see the logic in this when Stevie is playing in the centre and bombing into the box behing Kuyt or Crouch.
But as far as playing Bellamy on the wing full time - forget it.

I read somewhere that the original trial was postponed because fresh evidence was introduced against him. Surely a few quid could sort this out once and for all.

Someone who was in the nightclub at the time, said the girl and her mates, wanted to go into the VIP section Bellamy was there with his mates, and cause the bouncers threw them out, she is claiming compo, just after a few bob I think.
Cant bare girls like that

Then we put the ones who didn't get picked on the bench. If one of them comes on as sub to replace somebody who isn't playing too well/has picked up an injury and then proceeds to do well, then in the next game he plays and the other bloke reverts to the bench. It's sort of been that way since the beginning of time really.
There have been celebrated cases converting players into something else at our club, Ray Kennedy into a midfielder being the most obvious example, with Carragher back to centre-half, and Gerrard to right midfielder arguably also successful. Usually though, when you buy a bloke to play upfront that's where you play him. If you need a left-midfielder you play one there. If you have two new left-midfielders, you play one of them there. At least that's what I'd do anyway.
