I used Miami as it being the biggest US city closest to Cuba . I know I could have used somewhere like Kiev as the Soviet example but the last time they had a nuclear problem down the road in chernobyl it only did £3.50 worth of damage .

On a more sober note , I'll see your Baku oil fields and raise you the gulf of mexico and texas oil fields .

A Muslim woman has been suspended by a school in West Yorkshire after she insisted on wearing a veil in lessons.

Bilingual support worker Aishah Azmi, 24, was asked to remove the veil after pupils found it hard to understand her during English language lessons.

Headfield Church of England Junior School, in Dewsbury, said she could wear the veil outside the classroom.

Ms Azmi refused and was suspended pending the outcome of an employment tribunal, Kirklees Council said.

The tribunal heard the case in September and is due to announce its decision within the next two weeks.

Dewsbury MP Shahid Malik backed the school's decision, saying: "In schools the top priority has got to be the education of our children.

"I fully support the decision of the education authority and the school in requesting the classroom assistant remove her veil when teaching primary school children.

"I believe the education authority has bent over backwards to be accommodating and has been extremely reasonable and sensible in the decision it has come to.

"There is no religious obligation whatsoever for Muslim women to cover themselves up in front of primary school children."

'Inadequate standards'

The school, which has 529 pupils aged seven to 11, takes many children from different ethnic backgrounds where English is not the first language.

An Ofsted report carried out in February said: "The first languages spoken by most children are Panjabi, Gujarati and Urdu, and many children are still learning to speak English.

"Significant improvement is required in relation to the inadequate standards of achievement reached by children and their slow progress over time.

"Children's speaking skills are poor and this holds them back in most aspects of their work."

Kirklees Council's children's services spokesman, Jim Dodds, said Ms Azmi's suspension was "nothing to do with religion".

Teachers' concern

"We are simply trying to ensure that our children get the best possible education," he said.

"Both pupils and teachers raised concerns because they were finding it difficult to make out what she was saying during lessons.

"We have a lot of pupils who do not speak English as a first language and you have to be able to see people's lips move when you are being taught.

"We asked this young lady to remove her veil when she was teaching English language, but she refused."

Mr Dodds said that even if Ms Azmi won her case the council would not change its position.

"Our only concern is that the children are taught properly," he said.

Last week, Commons leader Jack Straw angered some Muslims when he said wearing the veil made community relations more difficult.

I'VE spent the past few days speaking to some of Britain's sharpest military and political brains to find out why it's OK for us to have nuclear weapons, but not North Korea.

And the answer was Wacko Jacko. Or mad and bad. They are, we're not.

Compare the differences between us, they say, and it's clear we're modern and civilised, while they're stone-age savages.

Look at diets. They eat dogs, we eat lambs, after they've been chopped into the shape of traffic cones and rotated in fly-infested kebab-shop windows for weeks.

They have a hereditary head of state undemocratically imposed on them. Whereas we have The Queen, followed by her son, whether we like it or not.

They loathe their neighbours South Korea so much they refuse to join in a political union. We loathe all of our European ones so much we won't even join a common currency.

Their leader Kim Jong-il is a crackpot dictator, whereas ours refuses to give up power and says God, not mere voters, will decide if he's right.

They are so crazy, they might illegally start a war with a nuclear power which threatens the end of the world. Whereas we helped start one with a non-nuclear non-power which brought Armageddon to every street in Iraq.

Badness and madness. It depends where you're coming from. But this government has no right to lecture so-called "rogue states" over aggression, when it backed the biggest rogue state on earth in the illegal destruction of a sovereign state for its own greed.

How dare we say to countries deemed part of an "axis of evil" by the world's most blood-thirsty war-mongerer that they cannot defend themselves with a nuclear deterrent, when we allow Israel, India and Pakistan to keep a lethal armoury, simply because they're America's friends?

Especially after discovering, with the arming of Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, how we end up paying for America's poor choice of mates with our soldiers' lives.

We have neither the moral authority nor the credibility to lecture any other country about their use of deadly weapons, because after the invented WMD dossiers and the carpet-bombing of Iraqi civilians, we're rightly seen by billions as being up there with the baddest and maddest.

Us telling North Korea they can't have nuclear weapons is like Michael Jackson spotting a dad smacking his son and reporting him for child abuse.

Let's keep our mouths shut, and instead spend some time analysing our own insane belief that we are still the policeman of the world, before making ourselves even more loathed than we already are.

A 14-year-old girl has been arrested for allegedly making racist remarks at a school in Greater Manchester.

Codie Stott said she asked to be moved from a science group where she was with five Asian pupils - only one of whom spoke English.

The 14-year-old was questioned in a juvenile unit before being released without charge.

Harrop Fold High School, in Worsley, is investigating before deciding on what action to take.

Codie said: "I asked the teacher could I change groups because I didn't understand them and she said I was being racist and started shouting at me."

A complaint was made and she was taken to a police station.

Her mother said her Codie's jewellery and shoelaces were removed, her fingerprints and DNA samples were taken and she was put in a cell.

The school said it wanted to ensure it had a caring and tolerant attitude to pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and it did not stand for racism in any form.

Greater Manchester Police said it took hate crime reports very seriously and its treatment of the teenager was in line with normal procedure.

I know what you mean.

Apparently racism only counts if applied against ethnic minorities, pretty similar to the way sexism only seems to apply when a woman's the victim.

The girl arrested should be suing for wrongful arrest. How is what she did racist?

I also think there should be rules in place that if you want to live in this country you have to speak the language, and in the case of children the parents should be held accountable if they can't.

And once again the "Political Correctness" bullsh*t enters the arena without cause or justification.

How the f*ck can that school even consider bringing the Police in over such a stupid case? W*nkers.

It kind of reminds me of the only time I was ever accused of being racist.

I was at school, in an English lesson, and we had to write an Autobiography. (Year 10). No problems there.

Then, the f*cking idiot Geordie bint who somehow passed as a teacher told us all to draw a cover for it. OK.

So me, being a "Member of the National Front", as she accused me, thought "I know, it's an English lesson, I'm English, so I'll draw a St. George's Cross on it, as I can't be f*cked to draw anything more complex." (It was a hot day.)

No sooner had I finished, than the wretched termagant wailed like a shrew in my ear, grabbed the work and tore it up, screaming that I was a racist, an NF member, and all that.
The barcode-beguiled bitch then marched me to the head of department and demanded I be suspended or some such b*llocks.

Me being me, I said to the head, in a suitably calm manner, that she was a f*cking loony, and how was what I did the action of a hardened racist? I also suggested she should take time off when she was on her period.

The head of department obviously sided with the matriarch in her presence, but later confessed that he could hardly stop himself from laughing at her blatent stupidity and overreaction.

Unsuprisingly, the temperamental whore was soon sacked for being a complete tw*t.

What would not suprise me in the slightest is if the poor girl in peewee's post had encountered the hardfaced harridan hellcat I had to put up with for almost a year.

Strangely enough, the class grades shot up once we had a teacher directing us, as opposed to a permanantly PMT'd porcupine.

Another thing that gets my goat is .......... In England/Britain we have all these movements. The gay right movement, the lesbian movement. The Ethnic right movements, the refugee rights, kids rights, Political correctness for religons and so on.
But is there any kind of right for the average tax paying 'White' man in England. :no

Is there f.uck. If I'm on the brink of sounding racist I really couldn't care, its not of the fact I am, but more to do with the reverse discrimination on the white man.

I completely concurr with your comments BM, I mean me and mine pay taxes at the top end of the mark, to keep 'that lot' you listed and all the obese and not so obese, economy meat loving lazy whites, who can't be ars.ed to get of 'theirs' and earn a living.. forget rights for 'this group and that group'.. it should be rights for tax payers only..
