Daily Mail today reckon Benitez will fly into Liverpool today and take charge within next 48 hours :;):

I think it's a done deal myself. When was the last time all this speculation happened and the outcome was wrong? I've seen it happen once.

Howard Wilkinson, when he took over as boss of Sunderland the season before last was quoted as 250/1 - 500/1, 24 hours before he got the job. He wasn't even in the market. Those shrewd enough in the know were able to get on at that price knowing he had the job, but the media didn't know about it.

Like I say, I think Benitez is a done deal.
