There are many people like me on this forum, blow ins , who travel over to watch a few live games a year.

We rely on the likes of this forum to get the veiws and aspirations of the many season ticket holders. ( The Anfield Faithful)

Sometimes I've posted silly topics on this forum ( Apologies) T
This one to me means more than so many topics.

I'm a wee prod from he Shankill Road in Belfast.

I went on a visit to Ibrox and then Parkhead last season.

Parkhead blew me away, I have never talked to people before with such vision as those who are now shaping the future of Celtic. I learned so much and respect Celtic so highly( Anyone who knows where I from knows how difficult a journey that is for me) Yet they have so much that we could learn. Anyway I have truly serious questions.

1 How big a stadium could Liverpool FC build and how many permanent fans could we get per week.

2 How does LFC make away games more accessable to distant, Irish, Welsh, Scotish and over seas fans.

3 How can we stop arguing with each other and enjoy teasing those that hate us, our record our success our acheivements.

4 My final Questionis perhaps the most fundemental and I beleive the most difficult and I hope the most discussed, What is Liverpool fc?

I have my own opinions but seriously I want your opinion
on any of the above, in how many words it takes! I am genuinely interested in what you, have to say. Walk on!

Liverpool fc is about going to the game when you where 5 years old.

Picture it typically it was absolutley freezing, and I really cant remember who we played or what the score was.

I can remember my father going out on a Saturday, at around 10am, and sometimes even earlier. I always wondered where he was going and why he had to wear his scarf in the summer as well as the winter. I was captivated by the almost religious way he would do it every week, except when I was off school for some reason. I longed to go with him.

Then one week he told me he had a spare ticket to go the game on Saturday. I told everyone in school and everyone else in fact I was going to watch Liverpool. I couldn't wait to go and see my heroes, the men whose name I shouted loudly every time I slotted one on the school field. Saturday took an eternity to arrive.

Saturday came and I was ready at ten, yellow Liverpool crown paints full kit on. I went the game and it felt like my lifetimes birthdays and christmas had come all in one go. I walked round in awe the whole afternoon, I was sure the players where looking over at me in the crowd. And so the love affair started.

My mum reckons I never stopped talking about the game for a whole year. I have had the ups, 89 double, 2001 cup run, but the downs also, michael Thomas goal the prime example, and I have had the downright unthinkable, Hillsboro.

Its a full time job this Footy fan thing. But I wouldn't change it for the world.

My girlfriend often asks if I love her more than Liverpool Football club. The answer is simple, "I have loved you for five years, but I fell in love with Liverpool Football Club twenty two years ago."

Leon Good Answer lets see if someone can beat it. As and aside I had a kid from Catholic Short Strand (Belfast) with me at Ibrox The tour guide said an unforgetable quote. The young lad asked him if he ever would leave glasgow and Rangers. He said " Many years ago the missus wanted to emigrate to Austrialia, I said to her if Rangers go to Austrailia then I'll go. She said You love Rangers more than me, what he said, Darling I love Celtic More than you" A true football fan. they did'nt get that one at Parkhead yet we all enjoyed it.

That brings a tear to my eye.

Seriously though, whenever new players are brought in (particularly from abroad) the first thing they should be given is (not a press conference) an induction...yes an induction.
A wide screen tv should be brought out and the history of Liverpool DVD should be replayed again and again until the new player can recite it backwards and recall all the great games, players and victories of our famous club.
Only when they appreciate the passion and culture of our club and understand how Liverpool F.C. touches you me and obviously Leonmco708 (SEE ABOVE) should they be allowed wear the red shirt.

Leons post is excellent he speaks with a true passion of the scousers, many of us her rely on you guys to tell us how it is. Yet my other 3 questions are critical. question 3 for this forum question !and 2 cause Im A stupid wee lad from Belfast! One other thing can we set up a support structure here whereby When I want go to a game we have a ticket forun where I can beg for help. IE inparticular away tickets. I can apparently buy a shirt somewhere on this forum but not an away ticket. any suggestions. I have a 12 man strong group of dim wit friendwho are contemplating a society all LFC fans all really ****** golfers , 50% dickheads LIike me.

Question 1 - Realistically i think that Liverpool could put another 15,000 on top of what they get at present so something around 65,000 in my opinion.

Question 2 - LFC have obviously made it a principle that they judge loyalty of their Away support on how many Away games those fans went the previous season. At LFC as you may be aware all season tickets holders have "Fan Cards" which are swiped each time An AWAY ticket is purchased and the amount on your fan card at the end of the season in terms of Amount of games attended counts towards your chances of acquiring AWAY tickets the following season......For Example my Fan card has 6 Away games on it for the 2003/04 Season. NEXT season that wil probably entitle me to pretty much ANY away game ticket I want to attend. So your best bet of a ticket for an away game seeing as your in NI is to ask fans like me to get you away tickets for the games that I don't want ot or can't go to ........It serves 2 purposes, I get my loyalty on the Fan card for purchasing tickets and you get to see the Reds Away from home , so BE NICE to me !!!!!!!

Seriously though there is a trust issue here but can't see any reason why LFC season ticket holders who don't want to attend Away games can't acquire tickets for those that do ..... Of the 6 Away last seaosn I attended 5 and for the Charlton Away game purchased a ticket for my mate in London... On a further point I think many fans who dont live near Liverpool often give up without trying believing that its a lost cause. Last Season sadly at Anfield there were quite a few games with a significant amount of empty seats and it makes you wonder how hard people are really trying to get to games.....

3. Our record stands alone as the most successful club side in English Football. Even in the 13 years we have failed to win the Coveted Title we are STILL the 3 rd most successful club side in England.

4. Time doesn't allow me to answer thsi question in its entirity but I identify so readily with what Leon had to say and applaud the articulate way he posted......
