Think your right there mate, he seems to be ble to focus alot more when he's on his own, he will probably p!ss his singles match, but tbh after all the talk of how much he wanted this i am surprised by his indifferent form.
Garcia is a different animal all together, really struggles with the pressure when he is on his own, but thrives off playing with a partner.
I was going to put money on him to be the top points score at this years cup but was working and couldnt be @rsed using my break to go the bookies....gutted i never now.

I'm not into golf but there was a great buzz around town leading up to it as it is the biggest tournament that Ireland will ever host.

I'm just happy Olazabal (he's from my province) is back at a good level. Sergio Garcia doesn't seem to be what he seemed he was going to be, yet, he's a good player despite the small tradition of golf in Spain.

It's quite amazing that a country that has so few followers had players like Seve Ballesteros.

Sergio Garcia was exceptional in the pairings over the weekend but when he gets to the final day either like sunday or in any other big tournament were he's got a chance of winning he seems to fall away. After the great players like Seve and Ollie from spain it's a surprise that he keeps falling short at the vital moment. The upside for him is that he's very young and got plenty of majors ahead to prove his doubters wrong.

Secondly Darren Clarke deserves some massive respect for playing like he did in the Ryder Cup considering it's barely a month since his wife died.
