If people want to write us off let them, as far as I am concerned the pressure is now off. We started similar to last year and then went on to play really well at the end of the season and we are a much better team this year.

We had more opportunities than Chelsea witout the luck. I am gutted we lost but I still thought we played well.

What happens when we play against the Toon and dont manage to put the ball in the net, one point or maybe no points. Our finishing just isn,t good enough, ontop of that, our Captain Fantastic tries to do everything himself, ignores better positioned players and tries to go through a brick wall with his head. Any other player that tried to do the same would be greeted with a shaking of Stevies head.

You really need to get a grip some of you. Saying Benitez is now all of a sudden rubbish and Gerrard will leave in the summer, come on it was a tight game, we lost but could have got a draw and we could even have won it, as Woof Woof said we lost to a class goal!

Move on, get over it because believe it or not, its not really as bad as you all think it is!

I think we were unlucky again today. Against Everton I thought the team selection was wrong but its hard to fault it today. Chelsea won with a wonder goal and we missed what chances we created.

Yes its a bad start but it silly to say that we CANT win the title already. Personally I dont think we will , but I felt the same before the season anyway and a top 3 finish will be good with second place real progress. However thats not to say that we cant win it. Obviously we need to start winning on Wed night but it was never going to be an easy start to the season. Look at who the Mancs have played - wins against Charlton and Fulham when they looked great, a struggle against Watford and a fortunate win against Spurs at home (who are struggling at the moment) First big name for them (Arsenal) and they have lost. There is a long way to go yet for everyone so lets just relax a bit and try to be realistic

It's this team rotating rubbish that rafa has got into his head that cost us the game.
gerrard going it alone again when players are in a better position to score.
bellendamey did what ? Yep jack all again but crouch lost his place to him?.
Pennants poor passing.
We have got to go with what we know and that is that crouch is scoring goals.
I am not knocking any of our lads I just know we can do better.
As far as I can see rafas rotation messed us up again.
