CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL - Come on you rent boys!

Come on guys it's only September, we played much better today even before they went down to ten men. Aurelio was sh*t but everyone else did ok. If it was Man United or Everton i'd be really :censored: off. At least we're not doing as bad as the Arsenal.

Today we didn't have the luck and they scored a great goal and held onto the win.

However it's laughable that Rafa gets the blame and it's laughable that some still harbor hopes that we can win the league.

I agree!!!!!!!

Was it his fault that Gerrard missed that sitter?

What mistakes did he make today?

Rafa made no mistakes today thats the problem, the other problem is however this starting 11 wont play again together in the next few weeks, thats the problem.

Yep you are right, but i would not have stuck SG out on the left and and i would have put longlegs on for the last 30 mins.......but hey what do i know lol

What other team rotates their squad like we do? This rotation is a load of sh.ite, it doesnt work, why do we need to do it when no other team does. This sh.it needs to stop. If we play our strongest team regularly i believe we do have a squad that can challenge for the title, but we have f.ucked this up already due to effing rotation

this tinkering stuff has gotta stop!!! It is obvious that the team is affected. (1) Crouch is on the form of his life so he should start...his strike partner should find way to strike an understanding with him. (2) Gerrard is our main asset so he should play at his best position...supporting the strikers from the middle of the park whereas Alonso's form has dipped so he should start from the bench until he find his feet again (3) Agger & Carra should be our centreback and Hyypia should only start to give one of them a rest or played at cup games.

Get our spine sorted out quickly and we will play with more consistency...

The Reason Utd Are Doing So Well Is Because They Have Bought One Player they Do Not Have To Adapt And Gel Together They Can Just Carry On Pretty Much From Where They Left Off Last Season , Where As We Have Bought In Many Players And It Takes Time To Work .

robbie fowler could have come in useful today, im sure...

as for aurelio and pennant not good enough today...
alonso and gerrard too went missing far too much. the only positive for me is, the pairing of agger and JC.

we badly miss riise out there, although luis garcia might have had better luck than bellamy.
overall not the worst weve played this year...but sadly the horizon is fast disappearing with the trophy on it.

chelsea were simply stronger on the day.

Thats just the problem Rafa doesn't know his best team. He has been tinkering to much, we have a lot of new players and they are playing like a team that hasn't played together that much. Its about time he settled with a team and played them majority of the time with the odd change now and again.

Agger has cemented that position now. He is playing really well but Rafa will probably change him with hypia next game. Alonso is playing well below his best and should be dropped, put stevie back in the middle with momo pennent his starting to look good out on the right but needs now to stay there give a settled team more of a run. Whats happened with this gonzalles we need pace out wide. Aurellio should play left back until J.a.r gets back, as for up front Kuite and crouch should get a run together.

We need to get it together and fast!  But all this rotating players is not going to get us anywhere. Play our best team and put the players we have who are playing well at the minute in the starting 11. Surely as well Zendon is not good enough he is not going to change a game what does he offer us, Gonzales has pace and can change a game.

Its early days but we have to start playing like a team that plays together regular, who knows how each other plays. At the moment we are playing like a team that has been swapped and changed.

todays performance was good.  The only reason I am so annoyed is because of the dropped points before today.

why does everyone hates aurelio? ??? if we didnt change him with warnock we wouldnt have attacked as much as this, warnock simply doesnt support our winger, look at the time when gerrard was the left winger, absolutely no support.

And pls pls play gerrard on free role, if not right wing, play where he is the best dun put him at weird places...

Maybe Crouch could have come on a little earlier, sure I will accpet that.

IMO
undroppable players: Gerrard, Alonso, Momo
That means that either Gonzalez, Aurelio or Zenden.
I would rather have Pennant on then any of these three.

I dont see what the problem was, our midfield played well and had good balance.

But what would your midfield would have looked like, if you claim that you would have don it differently?

was thinking the same myself... no word of injury.
at least lets face it, he cant be any less effective than aurelio or zenden at the moment.

I agree the rotation Rafa has shown has not only been deeply confusing and frustrating it's not worked and needs to be stopped. However I can't blame him, especially when he doesn't know what his best team is, that will take time. We aren't good enough to challenge for it, nevermind win it. We had an outside chance, providing we had a good start to the season.

We've signed a fair amount of new players, I expected us to do better, but I never expected us to win it this season. Lots of fans have been rather niave.
