The original question suggests to me that Hamman was a regular in the first 11 and now that he's gone he's greatly missed . Truth is he had become a bit part player ,albeit a very useful one , to link his absence to our underwhelming performances this season for me doesn't hold water .
Do we miss him ? No . (but still think he deserved and was worth another season with us )

We will though miss him later on in the season, when one or two midfielders are injured or tired, especially if those players are Xabi or Momo.
