new series of ricky gervais' extras starts in 30 mins, should be good.
make sure you watch 'that mitchell and webb look' afterwards for guarenteed laughs.

All in all a pretty run-of-the-mill first episode. Orlando Bloom's scenes were fantastic portraying an insecure vain Hollywood actor type and Keith Chegwin really stood out as a closet racist bigot. It's the fact you know they are sending themselves up which makes it funny.
Probably best viewing it as part of a whole series rather than try and view it as a stand alone episode.
