I really think this could be a reason.
it's been the case for ages mate. like i said the other day, of our strikers, three of the four do the majority of their best work outside the penalty area. we can't be relying on gerrard to be braking into the box all the time.
take gerrard out of the equation and our midfield don't score enough goals in general.
