Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Come off it Stu, give Reid a break. He's still only a chap.

He would probably have moved to the Premiership by now only for the fact that Forest are being silly with their valuation of him.

Both Reid and Tim Cahill are players in the Nationwide who could take the step up.

As for Liverpool I would only sign him for no more than 3.5million. We already have Kewell, Cheyrou, Riise and Diouff who can all play left midfield, where Reid normally lines up for Forest.

the only place Diouff should line up is in front of a firing squad.

Are Benitez's footballing principles really what we need ? as ive been reading certain quotes he's made in the past and i cant help having reservations ,basically the gist is this' Benitez has stated more than once in the Spanish media that his philosophy is the least number of passes that lead to a goal are in his view the most pleasing ,and he has often been lambasted by the press for his less adventurous style of football. It is also true Valencia's current brand of football would be more suited to Serie A ,but i will reserve judgement until ive witnessed them when the season gets under way, there is no doubt Benitez's teams play to win and defensively they are rigid but have never been popular with the press and sports analysts ,anyone else share my views ?

Listen, anyone on here for a bit should know that any topic started by cheeseface is a pi.sstake.Thats what he does.I have never been offended by anything he has said, ever. But I have been offended by so called "liverpool supporters" on here, people who claim to support Liverpool yet seem to hate other supporters.Cheese is ok and should be orange.
