Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

although a point away is decent in the champions league i thought they were there for the taking tonight, they are not the same team now that alot of their good players have left and the manager has done one aswell, and hiddink is one of the best. i'd have said PSV were the strongest rivals in this group for us and i still reckon they are, am not falling for the galatasaray will be hard away routine coz i think we should beat them comfortably, the same for bordeaux aswell.

thought stevies effort was in :(

Good performance for the most part. I still think we gave them far too much time with the long shots and didn't close them down, constantly moving back.

Aggar, Kuyt and Bellamy played very well, Gerrard was unlucky at the end where we could have won it.

The other match in the group finished 0-0 so we are in a good position at the moment.

It wasnt Crouch, it was just the English game, he played just as :censored: for us when partnered with Cisse

I know.  Trust me I was a critic.  I just feel him and crouch liked to do the same things.  Still Im glad his scoring.  Think his got 6 goals now.

Salcido looked absolutely top notch, I think Liverpool will have to start searching Mexico for talent. We should have gone for Carlos during the summer window.

Hey 1st class kunt, fuck off since when has my clubs supporters had names like amdkjgifwjethnsri9jtgv and think I am a racsist through a nickname on a website?

I think Agger should play Sunday.  Was excellent tonight.  Also unlike Carragher and Hyppia Agger is comfortable on the ball.  Having a CB who actually likes to get the ball and play passes. 1 up is defiantly not the solution for Sunday.

Salcido you know the best player on the pitch tonight, if It weren't for him, we would have won. He was class tonight, we should of signed him instead of Aurelio.

Good game

Our sides obviously needs more time, but i'm sure we can do better with our captain back, Tardelli on the bench or in the team, Da Costa instead of Reiziger, and a real targetman up front (Kluivert?)...

Overall I guess 0-0 is a deserved draw for us ..Cheers!

Why because he kept the strikeforce of Kuyt and Bellamy relatively quiet? You can't argue against fact, Salcido was on fire as were PSV, I think 0-0 was a fair result.
