I think Gerrard or Alonso should've started the game. I really don't think Zenden cuts the mustard, and Momo, great as he is, is only gonna break up the play and play the simple ball to someone who can provide a killer pass. Zenden is not that man.

IMO Momo & Zenden cannot play together, you need Stevie or Xabi in there with one of them, and I think they proved it tonight.

I think we deserved to win the game. Gerrard and Kuyt striking the post.

I have to admit, i'm very impressed with Dirk Kuyt, personally I think he is the best striker Liverpool have had here since Michael Owen, but its still early days. His partnership with Bellamy looked good and I think that should be the permanent partnership, instead of this rotation pish. We can use Crouch as a sub, but i'm afraid Robbie Fowler is too old and slow to play for us.

Bolo Zenden is clearly not good enough for Liverpool FC, why the hell was he playing instead of Alonso or Gerrard???
Also, Pennant played poor, and not too confident that he is good enough either, he looked tired in the 2nd half.

I am gobsmacked that we spend quite a fee for him. Even Aurelio performs better than him.

I might be too harsh though =/ i guess its the problem of us now gelled yet. Wonder why rafa brings out Bellamy stupid decision, i thought Pennant will be subbed instead Judging from the lineup Benitez is trying to get a clean sheet to build confidence from that. Kuyt and Bellamy looks good and full praises for Bellamy, he deserves a goal.

You're being way too harsh on Pennent there. He didn't do too bad in the first half and considering this is his first 90 minutes at champions league level(?) he did start to tire. The couple of appearences he's made this season he's shown a few glimpses of what we need in terms of width.
A bit disappointing tonight as I thought PSV were there for the taking but we've got a clean sheet on the board and it's something to build on. My one niggle is with Zenden in the middle as the game did seem to pass him by tonight and I think he should just be used there as injury cover IMO. I'd even prefer to see him out on the left instead of Aurelio IF speedy isn't gonna play and whilst Kewell is injured. Aurelio just hasn't shown me anything so far that says he's worth a place in the team; am I being harsh i don't really know but time will tell.
Overall I'll just about take the point as we've kept a clean sheet without being stretched like we have been this season at times. Kuyt looked bright up front and there were some signs of an understanding starting to develop already. Agger again looked impressive and time must be starting to tick down on Sami's career at anfield on these showings.

That was a good result. Neither team was all too bothered about winning, we avoiding conceeding in probably the hardest fixture of the 6 we'll play and set ourselves up to do well in this group.

good first half but dissapointed we didnt push on in the second for the win, kuyt was superd and Bellamy aswell just a pity the team cant pick out his runs yet, Gerrard showed his class again with a wonderful shot.

worrying thing is we`ll probably see another host of changes for the chelsea.

p.s Galatasaray next and its been such a pleasure having are psv friends round.

Were not scoring many goals as of yet. Kuyt will get goals though. Bellamy isnt really a predator, think he needs to be more greedy. Nando got a hattrick though. Think this season he will show that Crouch wasnt ideal for his game at all.

Oh look Ciggy is causing trouble, yet again.

Salcido looked absolutely top notch, I think Liverpool will have to start searching Mexico for talent. We should have gone for Carlos during the summer window.
