Internet went 3 weeks ago tomorrow for no reason. Luckily I was in Cornwall for a week of that so it wasn't as bad.

But we were ringing up Wanadoo (aka Orange) almost every day. We tried everything to get it right again. They even sent us a new Livebox but that had no effect. So until last night I haven't been able to post

(If you're wondering why I might have been logged on for a few minutes I was probably at someone else's house)

My older brother came round and fixed it somehow.

Then my Mum rang up today and got us 2 months free and they paid for all our calls.

So, what has happened in the past few weeks? Has Roberts been banned yet - has anyone been banned? I want to know what's going on in the forum really.

I was listening to the Derby on the radio in my 7+ hour journey back from Cornwall. Very disappointed about the result, but couldn't really get an idea of how we played. Can anyone enlighten me a bit.

More importantly, how is Phil doing? Any updates?

Everyone else on here ok as well?

Anyway...I'll stop going on now. :blush:

I know how you feel mate. My internet has been playng up for the last 3 weeks. I'm with NTL and the 2nd engineer is coming out in the morning. I get online for 10 mins or so and then it signs me out on its own, then all the lights start flashing on the modem and I cant get back online for a few hours. Its enough to do you head in. Hopefully it will be sorted tomorrow, if not the whole lots going out my window!!! :laugh:

I was off for 11 hours with NTL last week.Rang them 3 times and told i would be on within the hour a engineer was working on a fault in the area.
Firstly...they neglected to tell me which hour they mean't

I have this little wireless internet transmitter thingy which works well.. Or at least used to..

All I had to do was connect it to my computer and it did the work all by itself. I think it connects itself to the networks of some nearby servers and voila!

I get free internet.

But I guess they found me out though.

It now takes 5 minutes to load Google.

God help you with that Livebox.I'm on my fourth one in a year after the other three blew up.Yep literally blew up,bang,sparks,smoke..the lot.Any hint of lightning in the air and i have to unplug everything to avoid another repeat.It doesn't even need electricity to explode as the power surge can come through the phone line.

A mate of mine says NTL causes them nothing but problems
and my brother has had dealings with them for his work, but
wouldn't recommend them at all, so I sympathise with all of you that are having problems.
