not yet sweetheart, probably next two weeks. Not looking forward to it.The cancer has caused the mouth problems, even when they take out the teeth,i have about 6 others that need filling and capped along side several others that have lost their enamel.Only the 6 back teeth are coming out.The maxo-facial surgey people at the hospital only do extraction. The other work they wont do and dentists outside hospital wont touch me because i have brain cancer.I'm going to be left not been able to chew food anymore, because the back teeth are coming out and the ones left are still going to be too painful.Right fed up cannot describe how i feel about this, its just another blow to the face your suppose to live through.  :no

 you know so much cr.ap is written on these pages, by biggotts, people who live up there own ars.es and any one who is any one. Today we loose a game of 'football' only, no one is any less for it, just wounded pride and feelin a bit low,  but it has been our first defeat in ages.. doh.

Then there's someone like you Phil amongst us, facing so many trials and tribulations, and u know you being here reminds me how insignificant all this is.. what is important is our loved ones, the people who love us and look after us during the highs and lows of life, our partners, parents children and good friends who care and take the time to ask and help when needed.

When I first came on this site, I was overwhelmed by the impact of the internet, and didn't handle it well, in fact I did some silly things, some I now definately cringe at  :sniffle, but due to some personal stuff I lost it. Any how now some  3 years on, I've become rather philisophical, and the other day someone on here PM'd me with a message that I would have writen some time ago myself, because of how senitive I had become on here, I told them to take it easy, be cool and enjoy the occassional flurrys on here without taking themsleves too seriously. And you too have had that attitude since I have known you.

This place has changed because of you, you have humbled
so many on here and I have to say that being on this journey with you, knowing your highs and lows indeed reminds me of my mortality and that this life is but a temporaray abode, one we must all depart one day, and whilst football and LFC are important to me, in the scheme of things, win loose or draw, having my loved ones near me to face all that life brings, tops any result.

of course winning the league too will make it even better  :D

I'm praying for you and yours, Phil. Keep on keeping on fella  :)

I am shocked.
If i have ruined this site for people then i apologise.I say that........ because i know people are drifting away from here, and people are posting threads like where are the old school,
I also hear people saying its not as much fun as it was.
I've only tried to update you guys on my condition because you have been so wonderfully supportive...i.e..  messages, cards, donations, phonecalls.
If this is a selective few and the ramblings of a dying brain cancer man have led you to keep away from here, then i apologise.I enjoyed this place before i had cancer and i enjoy it now although i cant post like i use to.
If anyone would like me to keep away,or refrain from posting anything not LFC related because its preventing you from enjoying the site please tell me.
Zara if i've humbled anyone it wasnt intended ,i was telling things how they are nothing more ,nothing less........
Anyway take care everyone .....bye for now

Phil mate, Zara's post is a beautiful, complementary post about you.

She's saying that you know how to enjoy yourself on the site, that your not oversensitive, that you don't take yourself too seriously.

When she says that you have humbled people, she means it in a good way. She means that watching you go through your fight with cancer has put the stupid bickering that goes on here into perspective - that other things are more important. In many ways its united the forum.

Dont stress about this.

Phil, in no way have you ruined this place, far from it in fact. As STMIKE said if it weren't for you thered be no WElshWizzards wonderful world of w@nk which is possibly the best thread title on here. Fivecups post is spot on i believe, you are one of the old school on here and I and no doubt everybody else are hoping and praying for the day that you are healthy again and telling some of the knob'eads that are appearing on here exactly how best to fuck off  :D .

Phil you are up there as one of the best posters on NEWKIT and long may that continue!  :buttrock

All the best matey.

I have not misunderstood Zara at all.She is a sweetheart and i know exactly what her kind words mean.I'm on about the people who must be getting fed up with my ramblings about my health.I'm sure people dont come on here after a hard days graft to read about my trials and tribulations.
I think maybe i should only answer questions to do with my cancer by pm and take it away from the forum.People can get full enjoyment from the site again, without me making them feel suicidal.
Zara no hard feelings sweetheart,i never took it the wrong way, xx

Thanks Five cups, in a lot less words u have said it like I meant it :)

no-one is fed up of hearing about your health Phil, we all care about you and no one is compelled to read these threads or post a thought, prayer, jokes etc on here if they don't want to. In fact for a 'male' dominated joint, there are some real softies on here ay :D

This thread was started by someone who cares about your health and well being, and since then most of us have posted in that vein on here.

We all want you to beat this, we want you to keep .. keeping on.. you are part of the Forum family and everyone refers to you as an inspiration, that's some accolade when you consider how many egos there are on here :D

So don't ponder just do as you do.. in yer own Phildrummer style :)

There are some blokes on here who have a really caring side to them, and i agree Zara in amongst the usual jokey,píss taking type that forums normally breed its nice to see.It proves us men are not all total árses.
I'm not an inspiration though,i'm just a bloke in bed,poorly,with a laptop.
I believe that 99% of people on here wouldnt be any different than me,you dont have many choices not to be.
I have forged some geat friendships on here and whether i;m around for any length of time i am eternally greatful.
If the worse comes to the worse i have asked Karen to post funeral details on here,as i would like you guys dressed in red, singing YNWA in church.Which i will be requesting as a hymn..........anyway all lets hope thats a long while yet.

its the opposite mate, i dont get on here as much as i used to because i dont seem to get the time these days but i always have a quick look in when i can.
your thread is one of the few i always look in to see how you`re doing mate, while i`m waiting for the latest page to pop up i`ve always got my fingers crossed hoping to see some good news about your situation.
this season has been a stop start affair up to now, it hasnt really got going and i reckon that`s probably the biggest reason the board`s quietish at the moment
over the next few months its basically 3 games a week so i`m sure everyone will get back into the old routine.
