we lost a derby get over it.
even when we were winning the league year after year we still lost our fair share.
individual errors cost us the game, i`ve seen us play worse than that and create less chances and come away with a win.
they had the rub of the green with some big desicions and on another day shots that hit the post would go in.
rafa`s thinking was put the local lads and players with derby experience in because they know what derbys are all about. it wasnt like we were outplayed or over run like in the dogs of war days.
carra`s airshot was just a bad mistake, airshots have nothing to do with fitness or sharpness, i suspect most professionals could stand on crutches and still make contact with the ball, my grandmother could even make some sort of contact with the ball!
those games happen.

Lots of negatives today - Aurelio and Fowler in particular were poor, our three defensive mistakes for the goals were just horrible and Riise's injury looked bad.

its not only todays result but anyone with a clue about football can clearly see Everton are by far the best Team in Liverpool right now. you guys are a bit delusional. you claim to be title contender when your team aint even good enough to make the CL next year. face the FACTS and wake up now guys or the rouse is gonna be painful for you lot in a few months

We are NOT the best team in Liverpool, and from watching Everton in the 80's it kills me to say so.

LFC have far much quality in their squad than we have. Yes we won the derby, the scoreline was flattering but lets just enjoy it instead of causing arguments on here.

Bit of a downer but I thought we looked pretty good - a couple of mistakes in defence let them in. I also thought we were by far the better team and very unlucky that we didn't go in at half time at 2-2... great game though... a proper derby.

I think Kuyt looks the real deal but you've got to admit that Johnson looked pretty sharp.
