Interesting thought, St.Mick, although I've seen nothing of the player to comment.

I was just browsing through RAWK and read something interesting: if Neill buys out his contract from Blackburn, that makes him a free agent and thus available to be signed by any club at any time, rather than just during the January transfer window.  Is that technically true?  If so, is such a scenario likely?

Yeah that's right. If I'm not mistaken he's able to buy out his contract for somewhere in the region of a million pounds which would then make him a free agent.

Now I think about it, I'm not sure I'd want Scaloni anyway. I said he played well in the Fa Cup final but I also remember the League game at Upton Park when he made Cisse look like Pele.
