THis must be a legendary fart ever when a player's gas was claimed responsible for splitting the greatest football club in europe up

Michael Owen has revealed one of the reasons why Liverpool were poor last season- the players were split over Jamie Carragher's wind.

While the British players have found Carra's flatulence funny many of the foreign players have found it disgusting.

"There's lots of different cultures at Liverpool these days and not everyone finds the things Jamie does funny." said Owen. "His flatulence, for instance. A few of us laugh but a few of the foreign players will just....well, growl."

A club insider agreed saying: "The Jamie thing shows the the divide in the club perfectly.

"Whenever Jamie lets off the British lads have a laugh about it -but not the people from France and Africa. They think it is crude and childish.

"Having Jamie let rip all the time did not help team spirit."

It can't be that bad, because it didn't affect Houllier or is it because he is fond of Carra's flatulence that he insisted he can progress if given the chance.

Or perhaps this is the reason why Houllier's judgement is always clouded?

Yeah I can remember GH saying what a magnificent achievement it was finishing 4th with all the injuries we'd had and Jamie's stinky ***** to put up with!!

Maybe Jamies Farts explain why Houllier's press conferences were always full of hot air all last season.
