Season ticket waiting lists - ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Dose anyone actualy know the correct amount of people on the waiting list ?

does it ever go down as me and my mate have been on it 5 years now. and while being a member of a supporters club and fan card holder means i get enough tickets to keep me happy , i would still love to get my grubby mits on a season ticket.

personally i think the clubs ticket office phone lines, info, and web site leave a lot to be desired and more clarity in this department would benefit a lot of the public as well as the club.

how many times have you rung the club to be told that a game is sold out but they don't update the website with returns or the phone lines it is just pot luck

any thoughts

I don't have a clue how long it is but I know there is alot of people on it.

You just want a lovely leather wallet that you get when you are a season ticket holder like me :D :p :D

The ticket office is poor, they do not update and the phone lines are pot luck. But with the phone lines you have to apply a bit of experience, e.g. there is no point in phoning during lunchtime hours because it says that there is a fault with the line. I think the really go for lunch at that time. You have just got to phone at the right time. I have had no problems getting tickets over the phone for cup games but you have to have the phone stuck to your ear for an hour or two. This is a major problem, they should have more people on the phones. It makes me wonder how many people they actually do have on the phones.

I haven't used the internet to get tickets for the reason that they don't update.

I had a letter the morning of the England v Sweden game telling me that at this time I was seventy second in the waiting list for season tickets & if I was happy to sit on my todd e.g away from my mates they may be able to put me up the list because there are many people who wanted certain seats/areas of the ground to be near family or friends. I sent them a letter back & haven't heard anything since! The interesting thing was that the lad I go to the games with got a letter about a week later asking if he wanted to be placed on the waiting list because it would be used in relation to the new ground in the future.

It's a joke. Now people can swap season tickets over to others. IE if they dont want to go the game anymore can move it to a mates name etc. It will take an age to get a season ticket :(

I've been on it five years, but I can't help thinking 'Have they just f'ucked me off?'!

Getting tickets is hard, I've sat many a time on the phone for 3/4 hours with no success, it's just pot luck as adam says.

the waiting list depends on how many are given up each year!

I predict less than 50 are not renewed each year, and a wating list of 20 to 30 thousand.

it depends on the new stadium being built as more will become available as their will be 20,000 more seats to fill for every game.
