You can't classify Lando as a vulture, he's too f#cking huge to be a vulture.

:D

Quite right. If I were a bird, I'd have been an Albatross.  :D

Lucas Neill is another Razor Ruddock - avoid buying him at all costs

Only professional to - play in goal (41 appearances), Defence, Midfield, Striker, and later be Director and then to be Manager (winning a Championship) - at one club

I sometimes wonder where your loyalties lie. ???

Carragher is a professional his job is to play football, not decide who we will sign and who we won't. Whether he's happy or not isn't the issue, I'm not happy we signed Kromkamp, yet my view doesn't get heard does it? Let's face it, Carragher's a great person, a great servant to the club and a great player, but he's no angel, throwing coins at Arsenal supporter's is rather Lucas Niel-ish isn't it?

He's a thug who can't play without kicking someone up in the air, the true definition of a muppet.

Fuck off Neill your not wanted, not by true fans anyways

Oh yes, because someone has a different opinion to your's the old and pathetic, "you're not a true fan" insult comes into play.  :no

I take it you didn't like Souness then?

I didn't. The Souness era was Liverpool in the dark ages.

Anyways who actually thinks Souness is a good manager???

Erm...you do realise that when Souness was playing there were Lucas Niel type challenges flying about everywhere and Souness gave as good as he got. Just because he happened to like chopping players down and throwing out an elbow didn't make him a bad player, he was still a great, great player.

Great players make bad managers, that's no secret, so no Souness isn't a great manager, he's poor, but he was a damn good player.

That was a split second reaction. A reaction that a lot of people would have done - more out of instinct than anything else.
Lucas Neil however, is a dirty fecker week in week out.

For someone who apparently started supporting Liverpool in June 2005, how do you know Souness was a great player?

Some how I doubt when you decided Liverpool were the team for you, you reviewed the entire 70s and 80s football and players?

As for comparing Carragher to Lucas Neill....

If you think lobbing a coin at Arsenal fans (considering the fact that it was thrown at him) is on a par to breaking someones leg - you must be a div kid.

It's great to see how many people actually don't understand sarcasm isn't it? It's hilarious. Yeah I started supporting Liverpool in June 2005, you carry on believing that.  :D

I'm not comparing Carragher to Lucas Niel, I just said that Carragher hasn't been an angel on the pitch and of course hurling a few 2p pences at fans, is not as bad as having your leg broken, but either way it's still dangerous.

Souness was an immense player for Liverpool . As mgr at LFC he was poor but don't let that cloud your judgement of him as a player . He was hard as nails and had his fair share of skill , for me he's up there with some of the Liverpool greats .

That is very funny considering you supported Real Madrid before Istanbul.

What's more is you cried like a baby when I joked about it last year

How does that go.. oh yeah "people in glass houses should not throw stones".

What a lemon

Lucas Neill is one of the dirtiest players of his generation, is average in every department and a liability. I would not be interested in him at any cost and although Kromkamp hasnt settled well i would rather give him more time than have Neill anywhere near Anfield.
Oasis do us a favour and stop trying to come out with controversial statements to cause arguments.
Picking a one off incident involving a legend like Carragher and comparing him to a total scumbag like Neill seems like an obvious attempt to wind people on the forum up. :no

I think he's a very very good defender and if he's good in the air like someone said then I would be well pleased to see him at Liverpool.

I suggest you learn how to read because I wasn't comparing Lucas Niel to Carragher (not in terms of ability and not in terms of conduct). As for this topic being a wind up, I suggest you learn how to be more open minded, not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. If you think it's a wind up, don't read any posts in the thread or reply to any, it's as simple as that.

Mate i wone get into an argument with you cos thats obviously your favourite passtime.
You did compare Carragher to Neill using his coin throwing mistake as an example. It was a blatantly obvious attempt to rile someone into an argument. You need to get a life.
People can have a different opinion than me, thats fine....but anyone who wants Lucas Neill at the club needs to take a look at the dirty fecker in action.
1 game played this season, one sending off, no thanks.

My biggest problem with Neill is he didn't apologise properly for the disgraceful tackle on Carra a few seasons back. He insisted his eyes were only on the ball when the photographs of the incident proved the opposite.

If he signs, I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram, but I really can't see me warming to him for one second.
