the first goal was a close range header warnock!!  :D

I agree with LFC#1, it is going to be a really physical game for us but hopefully we can win it.

3-0

Bellamy (2)
Gerrard

It's gonna be tough lads.... Warnock may be an @rsehole but he knows the only way to beat us is to out-hustle and out-muscle us with plenty of niggle thrown in for good measure....

If Gonzo's in today, he'll be in for a baptism of fire I reckon... The old "Welcome to English football son.." introduction.

We should be able to come away with the 3 points but I believe that it won't be as easy as we might expect though....

2-0 with a late, late goal...
That's what my money's on at any rate....  :D

0-2 would seem to be about right. Don't know when they'll come though...maybe Gerrard and Bellamy.

reina, kromkapm, carra, hyypia, riise, gerrard, momo, zenden, aurelio, bellamy and fowler - what does everyone else think?

Yeah i heard finnan has a knock. Wish zenden wasnt starting  but it may be too physical a game for gonzalez to be thrown in to. Wish kuyt was on the bench, would like to have seen him play but i suppose it is best to wait until he is settled in even if it does mean a week until we can see him. Alonso dropped for the in form sissoko as people guessed. Dont know why pennant isnt playing though

The away kit look great...buy makes me feel old as it takes me back.Should be a good game today and i dont think its going to be a walkover , United will be well up for this game as they have been working for this day for a logtime.

The key to this game is how Kenny is going to be in goal, he is a good keeper (and a nice bloke) he is a good long shot stopper.....lets see how good he is against Liverpool.

It will be interesting to see how the Fowler and Bellamy partnership works. It has the potential to produce a lot of goals.

It's good to see Kromkamp in the starting line up, I take it players like Garcia and Crouch are being saved for the second leg of our Champions League qualifier against Maccabi Hafia?

Yeah I think they're being saved for Tuesday.
