chelski looked shaky   time for the scruff roman to spend another 60 million before the end of august and create an even more fractious squad..

Brilliant. :)  I believe this is just one of many trophies to come to us this season.  :)

Of course Mungo will make excuses but who cares.

Great deserved victory. Dominated the game despite a relatively makeshift lineup as compared to Chelsea's. Surprisingly good game from Zenden, outshadowing Lampard for most of the first half. Agger was a decent replacement for Hyypia and I really think he can step up to be Carragher's long term center back partnership. Sissoko was outstanding as usual, while Garcia's trickery almost got us a 2nd goal in the first half. Gonzo and Pennant provided good width and pace for the first 60 mins and  certainly caused Chelsh!t fullbacks plenty of problems. Needless to say, Bellamy's invaluable assist to our 2nd goal was the highlight of the game, matched with a perfect header from Crouch.

Only weak point of the game was when Alonso came on. I thought he was awful after numerous misplaced pass. He seems to be in a completely different wavelength with the rest of the team at the moment.

Wat a result....i really thought we will lose today (due to our lack of form and the fitness regime that paco is putting the team under)....

Make no mistake (and forget what andy gray says that we only deserved it marginally).... we beat chelsea by not playing our strongest team (and i am including dirk kujit).

Another psychological blow to chelsh1t.

To be fair Shevchenko (and essian) did have a good game. I like Shevchenko.....He is the best striker in the world IMO.

I just hate the team he is playing for.

If Shevchenko wanted to win the english premier league and the champions league in the same season, he should have joined us instead of chelsh1t  :D

A very very good squad performance . Special mention for Sissoko who is growing from strength to strength . All the new boys looked very tasty and Zenden  exceeded my expectations and looked very comfortable and more effective than any of the Chelsea midfield .

Maureen actually admitted in the after match round up that we were the better team and deserved the win .  :wwww . We've obviously got them rattled when even he runs out of excuses . :D

with Sissoko's brilliant form, looks like we will be playing 4-5-1 for the entire season, unless Gerrard plays on the right again. then we'd play 2 strikers.
