Missed most of the first half setting up ppstream, but from what i did see it was a well deserved victory, from the team that started to the one that finished we now have a very good squad indeed.

Working night shift these days so just woke up and saw the result.

What a kick in the stones it is for Chelsea to lose when they've clearly taken the game more seriously than us judging by their line up.

Got to say that the second half was quite tame to the standards we set in the first. The pace we have is outstanding, and Im glad we are match fit, cos the Chavs will be spluttering their way into the new season.

The defence needs a shake up, is Hyypia injured or is Rafa saving him cos of his age? We know he hasn't the pace, but he never really had it in the first place, hope he's not slowed right down. We need his vision out there.

If we can see a chink in the Chavs armour, it really is Cavallho and Ferrera and at times Lampard. They got money and high profile names, but we got a team and high morale, no money can buy that.

Couldn't do much with the conceeded goal, Finnan and Carra were zoning off, Lampard passed excellently (one of the only things he did) and unfortunately it landed fluch on sheva's chest. John Terry was awful today, sucked in!! If that's english captain material, then im sorry, there'll be no glory for the lions with him in that role!

This will not be the only trophy we'll pick up this season, this is the best time to really challenge for the title. Chavs will go into the season limping and we need to make sure we take advantage of it!
