LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA - Community shield build up here

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Well, half time from a highly entertaining Liverpool side. Cheatski is very negative in their approach to the game, just sitting back waiting to counter, to which they scored from a great pass from Fat Frank smack bang on the chest of Sheva, and as I said, that guy does not miss from there. We got caught napping for a split second, however there is no one to blame. It was a supurb pass against the run of play!

The last 10 mins saw us give away a lot of possession, and that could be due to the overall pace that we are showing at the mo'. God we are quick on the flanks!!

We are killing them on the right flank, Pennant vs Ferrera is quite easily won by Pennant's blistering speed. And Gonzo on the left is causing that receeding twit Cavalho major headaches.

How about Sissoko?? Commanding in the centre, caused Ballack to sook off to the dressing rooms faking a hip injury, where we all know that he is hurting, in that a kid is ruling the midfield. Essien and Ballack and Lampard vs Sissoko, with Mo winning out big time!! What a champ!!

Riise scored a stunning goal, what a man for the big occasion, surely makes up for the disaster midweek! Bring Bellamy on for Crouch. Luis and Crouch don't gel well.

Defence looks a little shaky, and not just talking about the goal. They have leaked here and there, playing the offside trap. They need to be sharp as a tack if they are going to pull that off all season.

I see this might go 2-1 at the death, Gerrard scoring the winner in the 80th minute mark.

He's lacking in pace big time! But even I am after a complete knee reconstruction, so I can understand why though.

Interesting to note the manner of which Ballack came off. He got embarrassed, took a slight knock to the hip and just started to limp off to the sidelines. He made the decision to come off rather than Moaninho. I wonder who wears the pants in that relationship.  :D
