He blasts the false drug accusations which have plagued his career.

WTF?? I haven't heard any false drug claims about him. Are they showing the level of the 'journalistic' skills here and mixing himup with fowler? ???

I've always regarded the NOTW as the sunday edition of the S*n, and therefore don't read it.

I'd be suprised if Stevie has consciously agreed to this serialisation.

Am hoping and assuming that this is naivety on gerrards part, nearly choked on me corines when i heard him on the radio, i thought his persil adverts were corny  :upside: Look am sure when he realises how stupid hes been he will apologise, he should ofcourse know better. Am kind of suprised that hes even agreed to 'tell his story' to  a paper, didnt think he was that type of fella but hes not "whiter than white" (persil pun intended) afterall.  :D

I am shocked that the lad could do an article in either of them so called newspapers.
I just nearly ended up arguin with the missus when i started kicking off, i had to explain what the NOTW and s@n printed and how no apology was ever made.
I dont care what people say about him being wrongly advised, the lad knows the fans and families feelings towards these rags and has still taken the money.
A major mistake that he should be embarrassed and ashamed about.

couldnt agree more enough said

As much as I love Stevie he is a perfect example of the modern player. He strives for money. Anyway he can get more money he will. That's why he has released his own DVD, autobiography and demanded a 100 grand a week of the team he is supposed to love. If I got the chance to play for Liverpool, I would play for nothing. And that's why he has sold his story to the News of the World. They must of offered him the most money.

i am sure he wont have gone into this blindly, there must be some explanation, he must have cleared it. but also remember that its not the s*n that this article is in. yes its owned by the same company and its probably not wise for him to be linked with that company, but to see him smiling holding one of their rags grates a little

Yes that picture sickens me a little, I thought Stevie G as a local lad would be smarter than this, he may have cleared it as you said but it's still a little stupid of him IMO.

I'm no gping to vilify him and demand his transfer from the club, but I just can't see his motive for being so daft, it's not like he needs the money is it?

Jeez i just read this part, it's a bit fkn ironic isn't it? He must have cleared it with the club,HFSG and/or HJC  or he's really opened up a can of worms IMO.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know when the real book is out? As I do want to read the book but rather not buy that paper.

I am not going over board on this but the FACTS are SG put bits of his book out to the highest bidder News of the World put up the most money ....thats all that has happend. He would have been told about it but would not have much to do with the deal.
