I've been posting for about a week or two now and I decided that I should introduce myself. My name is Matt and I'm from the USA in Illinois. I'm 16 and I've been playing soccer all my life. I just recently started following the Premiership and was instantly drawn towards Liverpool. I also follow the MLS and have been since Chicago got their own club. I guess that's about it.

No I don't know Joe and sorry about saying soccer, it's a force of habit. I'll try and adjust but when people ask if I play football (refering to American football) I do say which one, the fake or real? Ok so that really had nothing to do with anything. I watched Chelsea and there $200 million squad lose to an MLS "All-Star" squad today. Pretty good match except that the MLS really gained nothing from it. And to answer BarryBelfast, it was the everything about LFC. The fans, the history, and LFC is an actual team, not a bunch of overpaid footballers out there for themselves just to raise their value.

A good answer, I am sure you will soon settle in. $200 million would only buy you about 3 Chelsea players tho'.

I thought $200 million was their total team salary. They were comparing them to the Yankees and the Yankess have a payroll of $198 million....maybe i read or saw something wrong...who knows.
