Ive not heard his name mentioned anywhere, but anyway I went down and put a tenner on him at 50/1 to be next manager. I could back up why he might come but aint got time, maybe later...

But he's a good friend of Houllier so if he gets Director of Football or something he might recommend him to the board.

But he's aging and I suppose he's 50/1 for a reason...

There's a reason he's 50:1!

Guy Roux is one of the greatest legends in the history of the game.

He has brought Auxerre from what was effectively Sunday league football to the pinnacle of the French game.

He has been there for something like 40 years.

Roux will never manage another club after Auxerre, anyway, he's as old as Moses at this stage.

Fantastic character, though.

He'll be there till he dies, either as manager or director of football. There bury him under the Centre spot.

A real tough manager is needed to keep up with the club like Liverpool where the stakes are so high.
"Young" and healthy-stated man like GH once had a heart attack when trying to lift this club up to the level demanded, remember?

Just going slightly of topic, but did anyone se that documentary about stress levels on football managers. They wired a couple of managers to heart monitors and followed the results troughout the game. Scary ****** lads.

They should do the same for the fans and wire a few of us up.
