I worry about this match not because they can beat us at football but rather all the hype surrounding the match. This was the one match I dreaded. Let's hope we roll these cuntz quick.

The United Kingdom isn't in Continental Europe either.

Besides that, you're right, but what are you trying to say exactly?

That you have been getting nothing but special treatment from day one. Club football in Israel is no where near good enough for CL. Asian club football is more your level yet no one wishes to play you in Asia, so you get burdoned to the Europeans as the Jewish lobby is so strong in Europe. I am surprised you are not allowed to play in the MSL.

If you think that we are not in Europe you are a retard. Simple enough!

I'm no fan of Israel, but the decison to put them in UEFA was sensible.

What would happen if Israel had to travel to Tehran, Baghdad, Damascus etc, they'd get killed, and I'm not talking on the pitch.

The fact is were they to get through then three European teams have to travel to Israel to play then in the group stages.

Sensible for Israel but how sensible for the Europeans considering they are not in Europe.

Turkey and Russia are also 90% in Asia, besides Saint Petersburg and Istanbul all their major cities are in Asia. Israel is on the border line with Europe (Cyprus is in Europe and it's the closest Western state to Israel). Besides, what does it matter to you whether Israel is geographically in Europe or not?

well its the euro champions league. just weird that because a country is 'close' to europe they can enter, same as that bloke bird who won the eurovision song contest.

im not having a go, im looking forward to the match, just making a geographical observation  :nod

anyway back on topic:

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has admitted the Reds will push for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier against Maccabi Haifa to be played in a neutral country.
The Reds will ask UEFA to switch the tie away from Israel with Holland or Slovenia emerging as possible alternatives.

Parry said: "At the moment we are very concerned. We will be making our feelings known to UEFA and it is hard to see the conflict being resolved over the next couple of weeks.

"You worry at any time but the situation is clearly, from our perspective at least, particularly delicate.

"Our feeling is that the second leg should be played at a neutral venue. I think there was a suggestion from UEFA that if it was to be moved then it would be to either Holland or Slovenia.

"Obviously, Maccabi want to play in Israel. That's understandable. But we have to be conscious of any risk to players or supporters."

ONE,an Israeli sport website, write those things also.
It does'nt matter, you'll have to play in Israel.
This is what UEFA decided to do and this what going to be.

It is pity if you will send your reserves players to Israel.

To me this gives the impression that UEFA are on Liverpool's side because they suggested that if it was moved then it would be moved to Holland or Slovenia.

I think UEFA will support us because as one of the favourites the win the competition, it will annoy sponsors if we refuse to play and have to forfeit and maybe not as many people may watch the games because we are not playing. So money is lost.
